You captured the personalities of both Godzillas perfectly with their eyes alone. Legendary is very aware and calculating, and also seems to hold a grudge, like when he intently looks at Shin while narrowing his eyes. All Shin did was mindlessly trudge forward-- it was Legendary who actually started the fight. He's aggressive and domineering, just like he was in the 2019 film. Shin on the other hand is oblivious and only really attacks out of self defense. Shin didn't even look at Legendary, his eyes were expressionless and...blank. Half the time he just ignored Legendary and walked away, only retaliating when the military pestered him. A big exception was when Shin's beam didn't work on Fire Legendary-- he looked absolutely terrified. I honestly feel really bad for Shin, he's just as confused as ever and was only minding his own business. He was so submissive in the end when looking up at Legendary for his approval, and he only bowed because he didn't want to fight...he never did (also cuz of that sweet sweet KotM reference). Very true to the source materials, sir. Well done.

This was cool but i think they forgot about shins evolution factor where he basically adapts to the situation more and more like they explained in the movie, i think that wouldve given him the upper hand, cool animation overall.

Honestly, I feel like Shin Godzilla wouldn't be able to fight the same way previous iterations of Godzilla could. Shin Godzilla is in a constant state of pain and agony and solely acts out because of that. He's almost always on the verge of having a meltdown so I feel like he can't really put up a fight against other monsters because of that
His body evolves to beat whatever hurts or can do mortal damage to him. He may evolve to gain high intelligence or bigger arms for close combat. But yes he's weak against something his size.

Agreed. See, this is one of the reasons I'm not to keen on having other monsters in the Shin-verse. For all of his firepower and maybe his tail, Shin would be terrible at close-up melee combat. That, and I just think Shin Godzilla works better as a stand-alone movie.

As a fan of shin Godzilla I have to say, you truly did this fight justice. You gave solid respect to both incarnations of Godzilla beautifully. I may like shin Godzilla more and have my biases about this fight but I would imagine the real thing would be so close to this that the difference would be irrelevant. Thank you so much for making this masterpiece. This really is a gem and I’m so glad I watched it.
I doubt it would be close, because legendary got his power from mothra, in the fight mothra wasn't even there, how could he have randomly got to that amount of power? he had already used a ton of beams.
Well I think an actual fight would be more interesting than he would have been able to do with what he had to work with since Shin can mutate himself to get whatever he needs, so he would develop new abilities as the fight progresses
@@Crttyt67 I would have loved to see him evolve a "godzilla-proof" solution to his defense, or a weapon suited to destroy godzilla. Heck, given that he is the only kaiju in his universe, why not use the foetuses in his tail to create more kaiju with their own independant solution, or "pop wings" like they said in the movie and become his own brand of king ghidorah. Shin Godzilla's main weapons are his impredictability and the fact that he makes all conventions and reasonning out of the window. A Base Metabolism ? Doesn't need any of that. The Square cube Law ? He didn't know, and didn't care, he is walking just fine. The logic behind his metamorphosis ? Whatever suit his need as a continued existence. The fact that he defies all reason is why he is a god incarnate.
This Skrub Shins evolution isn’t a _perfect_ counter for everything (in other words he isn’t an X-men sentinel) he adapts using traits he _thinks_ work best for a given circumstance. This is essentially why he didn’t even start trying to unleash miniature versions of himself to combat humanity until _the very end_ of the movie even after he was being knocked down by buildings, hit by exploding trains and pumped full of blood coagulant, because he thought that all the abilities he had already would be enough to repel the JSDF in their planned assault. There’s really nothing meaningful that he can suddenly evolve quick enough to instantly overcome another monster of similar size so quickly that it turns the battle in his favor on a dime, especially one as durable and strong as legendary Goji. Combat like this doesn’t allow a long respite period for him to get his bearings he either has to work with what he’s got or waste time leaving himself vulnerable while _trying_ to come up with a new adaptation that may or may not work.
I personally think that shin would've been able to win if they didn't nerfed him un this fight. His regerative can let him survived the burning Godzilla stage, and not only that, but he could be able to shoot Godzilla his atomic Heat ray at his eyes. Buuuut, this is only my opinion

Shin godzilla as we see it wouldn't stand a chance, but the advantage it does have is it adapts and develops very rapidly. If this fight ever did happen in a movie context we'd end up with the next stage of Shin's evolution and it would be built specifically for tanking Legendary's atomic breath.

Everyone thought that Legendary Godzilla Atomic breath is nothing in front of Shin Godzilla atomic breath but in Godzilla vs Kong we all saw his atomic breath power.
Even ghidorah couldn't withstand his burning Godzilla form, but this is just an animation :/, too be honest I think shin would win if Godzilla had no power boost to make him practically invincible
Considering Shin being as tough as 2019, the third blast would probably leave him scorched and damaged. A fourth one would carbonize his skin, and a fifth would probably turn him to bare bone.
In my opinion, most of these animations always show 2019 winning, with only the odd few that are different (The only flipping one where shin wins that I could find was an extremely short video by Desrodan) And Shin, despite being hated by a large amount of individuals, actually could be stronger than 2019, he has thick, rough skin, can heal from extreme damage very quickly, he can shoot atomic breath from basically all angles, and he can evolve to whatever the hell he wants. And a little extra to that is his atomic breath is one of the strongest, possibly even stronger than that of 2019’s. And it also sets things a blaze, and one thing everybody that dose these animations forgets is that shins blood is acidic, extremely, acidic. It could probably melt 2019’s skin of if he got to close to one of shin’s wounds, And Shin Can Spawn in flipping shin-humanoid creatures, so there’s that too. So, in my opinion, I think shin would win in this fight.

As a fan of shin Godzilla I have to say, you truly did this fight justice. You gave solid respect to both incarnations of Godzilla beautifully. I may like shin Godzilla more and have my biases about this fight but I would imagine the real thing would be so close to this that the difference would be irrelevant. Thank you so much for making this masterpiece. This really is a gem and I’m so glad I watched it.
I doubt it would be close, because legendary got his power from mothra, in the fight mothra wasn't even there, how could he have randomly got to that amount of power? he had already used a ton of beams.

Well I think an actual fight would be more interesting than he would have been able to do with what he had to work with since Shin can mutate himself to get whatever he needs, so he would develop new abilities as the fight progresses
@@Crttyt67 I would have loved to see him evolve a "godzilla-proof" solution to his defense, or a weapon suited to destroy godzilla. Heck, given that he is the only kaiju in his universe, why not use the foetuses in his tail to create more kaiju with their own independant solution, or "pop wings" like they said in the movie and become his own brand of king ghidorah. Shin Godzilla's main weapons are his impredictability and the fact that he makes all conventions and reasonning out of the window.

There’s really nothing meaningful that he can suddenly evolve quick enough to instantly overcome another monster of similar size so quickly that it turns the battle in his favor on a dime, especially one as durable and strong as legendary Goji. Combat like this doesn’t allow a long respite period for him to get his bearings he either has to work with what he’s got or waste time leaving himself vulnerable while _trying_ to come up with a new adaptation that may or may not work.

Shin godzilla as we see it wouldn't stand a chance, but the advantage it does have is it adapts and develops very rapidly. If this fight ever did happen in a movie context we'd end up with the next stage of Shin's evolution and it would be built specifically for tanking Legendary's atomic breath.

In my opinion, most of these animations always show 2019 winning, with only the odd few that are different (The only flipping one where shin wins that I could find was an extremely short video by Desrodan)
And Shin, despite being hated by a large amount of individuals, actually could be stronger than 2019, he has thick, rough skin, can heal from extreme damage very quickly, he can shoot atomic breath from basically all angles, and he can evolve to whatever the hell he wants. And a little extra to that is his atomic breath is one of the strongest, possibly even stronger than that of 2019’s. And it also sets things a blaze, and one thing everybody that dose these animations forgets is that shins blood is acidic, extremely, acidic. It could probably melt 2019’s skin of if he got to close to one of shin’s wounds, And Shin Can Spawn in flipping shin-humanoid creatures, so there’s that too. So, in my opinion, I think shin would win in this fight.
