I think you need some lighter Ren... they can't all be a hit or it becomes too much. I suggest the Love Music series 1-4 or What You Want, or Right Here Right Now - not his most popular but a totally different vibe. (if you do Love Music you have to do all 4 - doesn't have to be together but the 4th one is hilarious.)
Or "Uninvited" - it never fails to make me smile & want to dance along.

This song breaks me every time which I know is a good thing, as I'm a 56 year old man who had 2 close friends in high school who took their own lives and I have never dealt with it until I heard this song. I have always suppressed my feelings around this and never let my mind go there to truly deal with this and this song has helped me more than I ever thought possible or that even knew I needed. Total respect for everything Ren does. Peace and love to all the Renegades out there.

A somber song & heartbreaking tribute to his friend, Joe. We all grieved with Ren last year when he dropped this song. On a lighter note, there’s a video of the Big Push simply titled, “ The Big Push live”. It’s a busking jam session by TBP. Not a good quality music video but it’s worth checking out. Peace out!

I sobbed through this whole song and I have watched it many many times 😢. My Mom took her own life 13 years ago. It’s devastating for the rest of the family and friends. I still live with such guilt. Big hugs to you Turk 🫂🫂.

I think you deserve some lighter hearted Ren. Power, What You Want, 1990’s, and Love Music 1-4 are all much less heavy and the more cheeky fun side of Ren.
I see this as a mixture of himself at his lowest of lows, then of course Joe. ❤💔❤️

Survivors of family and friends who took their lives needs to be addressed more than it is. Ren's music covers this topic perfectly because his best friend ended his life so he knows how it feels, and he thoroughly gets it. I don't think many understand how much this effects the survivors until they go through it. You never get over it, and struggle to get through it. I loss my brother to suicide in 2013 and it still hits me like it just happened. I've never been impacted so hard by anything in my life like that. It's horrible! I have severe PTSD because I'm the one who found my brother. He was my rock and my best friend. He and I both love metal music, and tried to go to as many concerts as we could. I truly miss those happier days. The guilt eats me alive because I feel like if I had known his intensions maybe I could have stopped him. 😢
A friend of mine, who I could talk to about weird shit like physics and its intersection with philosophy, committed suicide a few years ago. He was an amazing soul who is much missed. I am so happy that Ren is talking about this. He makes us think deeply about who we are and how we interact with each other. 💚

Ren has a song For Joe also about his friend. And another Freckled Angels. If you ever get the chance Sam Tompkins has a special song Hero that he performs live at the Apollo Hammerstein. For something on a lighter note The Big Push Sweet Little Lady. Suicide is a tough song emotionally but something too many lives have been touched by in some way.
