Ren hears music differently than most artists. He can take two seemingly different songs from different times in music and not just play them extremely well, but also meld them together so they are one. As far as what you’re saying about the “message in a bottle” riff, he plays that instead of the original chords for the second verse. He than brings tge “let it go” back under the message in a bottle section. It’s absolute genius.
