    As the man says,you won't be disappointed with these cutters. I recently ordered a set and have tried them out on steel,dural and plastics. They are the real McCoys.

    impressive for what they cost, I think they saved money on a simple grind profile, I see the leading edge pushes a long chip in every cut, but that isn't a problem.

      @a000ab 2 года назад

      In fact that's my question as well. I don't know why on the selling page of this product on Banggood it has not mentioned aluminum. This makes me doubt little bit about whether it can be used for aluminum or not.
      Although based on things that I have read in some sources, the ones that have aluminum in their coating (likeTAlN) cannot be used for aluminum, and this one doesn't seems to have any aluminum in it.

    • @billruss6704
      @billruss6704 2 года назад

      You would want to use a 2 flute cutter on aluminum. Also some lubricant to prevent the aluminum sticking to the end mill.

    recomendet cutting speed for Hss in steel is 20 m/ min what equals to a 8 mm endmill in 1000 rpm. Cutting speed for carbide in mild steel is 200 m/min what would be 10000 for a 8 mm or about 5000 for a 16 mm. A 12mm should be somewhere in between but way up over 1500 ... Also use this endmills and have nothing to complain.

    Dear Tompas11,
    Thank you for the good reviews! They are very useful to me.
    In the video 2:04 there is a mistake for me, please help me, if you could.
    I bought the same endmill set like you bought. Literally the same.
    I weighed the 10mm end mill bit with a kitchen scale, and then a 0.01g scale.
    The 10mm bit's weight is: 63.38g. You weighed the same bit more than 70 gramms.
    Or your scale is bad, or I don't understand. My measurement is surely accurate (two scales gave the same results).
    Zsolt

    • @tompas11A3n52KkX
      @tompas11A3n52KkX  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Zsolt Nagy, well I don't have any other scale than the one in the video so I cannot make a comparison between different scales. Sorry about that. The reason why I made this comparison was to show the difference in weight between carbide and high speed end mills. Maybe there are carbide and there are carbide if you know what I mean, (different quality) or that my analog scale does not show so accurately as yours. Thanks for watching and comment.

      Thank you for the answer and the video again.
      Well, then your scale has the measuring problem, because the mill you have, the same as the mine, surely.
      On banggood, and ebay, etc, is available digital scales 0.1g accuracy about 5-10 dollars, I reccomend them to You. Nice gadgets.

      Hi Shaun. At first I used a 10mm end mill at 500rpm and feed rate was 58mm/min. Then I used a 12mm end mill at 1000rpm and the feed rate was at first pass 58mm/min and 1mm deep. The next pass was done at 1000rpm and the feed rate was 116mm/min and 1mm deep. The last pass was done at 1500rpm and the feed rate was 116mm/min and 1mm deep. Hope that answers your question.

      For example I use Sandvik carbide inserts all the time in the lathe. There is no need to make videos on Swedish machine tools because everyone knows that they are good, but expensive. Much more interesting making videos on low price tools (China made) to see if they are good or just crap. Of course some are good and some are crap, and it's nice to see what's what. The end mills in this particular video are really good for the price. Would I buy them? Yes I would, and if they were crap I would not recommend or buy them.
