I have visited Maidstone several times when I lived in Hayes in Kent, Near to Bromley. A very nice town is Maidstone with it's Bishop of Rochesters Palace near to the river medway and other historical buildings including the tythe barn which is or was a motor museum when I visited Maidstone.
Lived there in 68,....best town in England...nice memories.....Ireland
