I am myself an online teacher and I do understand that these small mistakes happen unintentionally. So this comment will help others to rectify the equation... Bdw thank you for the clear understanding. Kindly make more videos on square wave voltammetry, Polarography. I don't think anyone can explain better than you.
Thanks from China. These videos deserves more attention, very instructive.
Thank you so much! This video was extremely helpful! I wish my teachers were this didactic!
At 6:34, is the overall rate equation written wrong? Shouldn't it be kc[Ox]-kA[Red] ?
Yes; you are quite right! Well spotted! That’s what happens when I make resources in a hurry... thank you :-)

Ox + ne- Red
kc == forward
ka == backward
rate = forward rate + backward rate
forward rate = - kc[Ox]
backward rate = ka[Red]
Overall equation = - kc[Ox] + ka[Red]
Thus, Overall equation = ka[Red] - kc[Ox]
I didn't spot this at first.
Nice one!
Aside from rate constants interchange, I think everything in his equation is fine.
Your videos are very instructive and unambiguous, thank you so much.
freakin' underrated.
Great work!! please make more videos for electrochemistry!!! stay bless and safe.
Sir the content that you gave is very commendable . please can you share the presentation. I require for my preparation.
Can we get this lectures in PDF?
Sir can you please share the ppt of this video
Thank you for this amazing lecture
Very clear and helpful! Thanks a lot
5:10 I dont think the rate increases when the area of electrode becomes larger. Reaction rate is independant to the area.
Please share the ppt sir
Please share the ppt share
Difficult to understand your speed is fast
Very helpful thanks 😃
Glad you found it useful :-)
05:46 haha :D
Well spotted :-) . Some fluffs inevitably slip through!
6:34 the equation is wrong
also at 7:00 :p
* smashes the mouse *
705 hahahahah
