Janelle Monáe Dissects the Inspiration Behind 'Dirty Computer'

Janelle Monáe is sitting on her throne. This is true in a figurative sense, of course. “If she the G.O.A.T. now, would anybody doubt it?” she asks on “Django Jane,” the boastful, rap-heavy song that served as one of the introductions to her latest album Dirty Computer. But Monáe is on a literal throne as well: sitting in Complex’s Studio 3 on a regal chair that mirrors the one in her “Django Jane” video (or at least as close as our hard-working video team could find on a few days’ notice).

Janelle Monae wow...by watching 'Dirty Computer' I have realized that who I am is who I am, and I can try to hide it, but to also realise that 'real sh*t' can not be hidden forever...I can be me, I didn't come out like other people do...I just fell out because I thought that I was born out, I thought it was obvious and that everybody knew🤗

Prince knew that we would be in good hands after he passed on. He mentored some good people like Janelle Monae. The man didn't have children. But, he left the world knowing hopefully he did some good. Affecting change through his art. Janelle Monae thinks out of the pocket and wants to affect change. The only thing I'm not in accordance with is the idea that a women doesn't have to a vagina to be a women. Really? I get it LGBTQ Community and all. But, there is reality, then the reality that we want to present. That's just my opinions. People can decide the way they want. It's not my will to do so.

I'm not sure if this is the part you were talking about, but there is a scene in dirty computer emotion picture after the credits that I literally almost missed except that I let the credits play when I was reading comments. Apparently a lot of people miss it so that could be it!
