I have only just discovered this magnificent series. Ever since I attended a concert given by Diane Bish in Ottawa, some years ago, I have been huge fan of her amazing talent and joyful personality. Thank you, Diane. I look forward to listening to the whole series!
One thing that separates human cultures is the complexity of their music. It seems crystal clear that pipe organs that were engineered and re-engineered over hundreds of years reflect the intellect and complexity of a culture quite effectivly. Diane Bish reads all the sheet music and commands her fingers and feet in devine unison to produce the complex multi frequency sound from an extremely complex instrument. It is absolutely awesome and amazing.
Diane, Thank you very much for this wonderful musical tour of Germany in which you incorporate lovely sights, beautiful Cathedrals and above all your unique talents on the organ. Many thanks and best wishes to you always.👏
WOW! What an amazingly talented lady! I wish I was as good as her! It makes it even more special to see her play in my old stomping grounds ( Hamburg and Celle) . I feel very grateful that I had the honour to play on my Highschool teachers pipe organ in his church when I was 12. I will never forget that experience ( playing Toccata by Bach). I wish I could see this lady play one day. That would be so heavenly :) Thank you so much! You just made my day xoxo
Hello Together, Many Many Many Thanks For This Great Program and Channel. What Is The Right Name of the First Compostion in the First five Minutes of This Nice Video? Mrs. Diane Bish plays really marvelous. This Music Has Healing Capacities. May God Protect All. Best Greetings

When you hear a big pipe organ being played in a church and the bass notes shake the legs of your trousers you’ll understand.
What’s the Song from 14:26 ?
Celle is a beautiful City i lived there for 3,5 years 😊

would like to see and hear you play Frescobaldi and also likely Vierne or possibly Dubois ?
21:30: the name of the town is Merseburg, not Merseberg😉
Handel is not my favorite composer but how can one not "rethink" on these organs.
Why is she using a French organ piece to introduce a program about German organs?
Agreed - Romanti-Era French is not analgous with Bach.
Widors piece is magnificent regardless of composers nationality she is recording to emphasize the impressive nature of these instruments
So the first thing she plays is a French romantic classic. lol
