    One thing that separates human cultures is the complexity of their music. It seems crystal clear that pipe organs that were engineered and re-engineered over hundreds of years reflect the intellect and complexity of a culture quite effectivly. Diane Bish reads all the sheet music and commands her fingers and feet in devine unison to produce the complex multi frequency sound from an extremely complex instrument. It is absolutely awesome and amazing.

    When you hear a big pipe organ being played in a church and the bass notes shake the legs of your trousers you’ll understand.

    WOW! What an amazingly talented lady! I wish I was as good as her! It makes it even more special to see her play in my old stomping grounds ( Hamburg and Celle) . I feel very grateful that I had the honour to play on my Highschool teachers pipe organ in his church when I was 12. I will never forget that experience ( playing Toccata by Bach). I wish I could see this lady play one day. That would be so heavenly :) Thank you so much! You just made my day xoxo

    Handel is not my favorite composer but how can one not "rethink" on these organs.

    Why is she using a French organ piece to introduce a program about German organs?

    • @montewilson2956
      @montewilson2956 3 года назад

      Agreed - Romanti-Era French is not analgous with Bach.
