As a person who grew up in Fort Greene I want to say thank u for spotlighting the area between farmer in the deli and kum kau there's not too many old staples remaining in the neighborhood and these places definitely needed recognition
Thank you for the comment ❤️
You definitely from The Fort. I tell everybody in Ohio and Kum Kau
Can’t forget Hardees too
You are a great example of giving back to the community, truly commendable! You are a blessing to these businesses and people selling food. Your videos make me want to travel all the way from Washington state to the East coast to try these places in your food videos. Take care.
I appreciate that!
@@JLJupiterTV do they take ebt
@mac James YES, ONLY FOR COLD SANDWICHES
I concur!
You’re
Awww JL bringing smiles and kindness to BK…definitely can tell he ain’t from there 😂 He made the churro lady’s day ❤
Facts! Lol I always see the churro lady in the train station tho
Giving that woman an umbrella was absolutely beautiful! Continued blessings to you king!
Lol at the churro lady who wouldn't take 2 churros for the final sale
It was incredibly good of you to cave in like that and throw in an umbrella to boot 👍
Love the hustle in her
She a hustler brooklyn ishh
I've never seen anything like that chopped tuna and honey turkey. Couldn't believe how he got all that into the hero bun so perfectly!
The dude that's chopping gonna have carpal tunnel & arthritis in his hands/wrists like a mug. I couldn't do it.
Yeah he messed me up too when I saw all that was going into one hero. I never had tuna and honey turkey mixed together either, looks good though!
@@michaelfaulkner5839 I was curious about the turkey and tuna combo myself! hah!
Big up to JL Jupiter..., keep supporting the people and small business and we'll keep supporting you. Much love and a ton of respect to you my brother.
I appreciate that 🙏🏼
I used to go there as a kid … my elementary school is down the block! Definitely a neighborhood staple! Heart of gold for giving her that umbrella ☔️ 🫶🏼
Somebody gave you the best advice about two of the best eating establishments in Brooklyn. Kum Kau and this deli. Keep doing what you're doing, because you're doing it soo well!
JL is a good dude. You made that Churro lady's day.
Haha JL said “Let me get 2 hoagies..I mean 2 hero’s”. Lol he almost was set tripping in that NY deli haha that’s when the South Jersey come out!
JL I finally see you found the Gem in Brooklyn!!!! That spot has been serving the best sandwiches for years I hope you enjoyed one of our staples continue to enjoy Bk’s finest.
Brooklyn doing food justice once again.
It’s crazy how something simple like chopped turkey looks so good. Gotta love the innovation at these bodegas and shops. Salute JL hittin every city and showin love👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I gotta say that’s real Brooklyn right there.I was born and raised in NYC.Worked construction in every borough throughout my career.I used to go to Farmer in the Deli as far back as the late 80’s.Place was always packed and sold a great sandwich for a reasonable price.I always got the honey roast turkey or the tuna, they were the most popular sandwiches.I’m retired now so I don’t get to Brooklyn much anymore but great to see they are still at it.And CUDO’S to you JL Jupiter for finding great old time spots to show to people that might not ever know about them.Keep um coming 👍
Much respect to you. You are the reason I travel back and forth from Harlem to Newark. The Oxtail burger review was top of the line. On another note, I respect you coming to the hood getting the food from the mom and pops. The food that makes the culture and community. Great job with the Umbrella very thoughtful and kind, much respect.
So dope he gave her his umbrella ❤
Those churros are da bomb i bet they look so good, You said Tyron Biggums 🤣🤣🤣 that Was also Nice of you to give her an Umbrella.
Need a bag of lays chips and stewarts black cherry with those heros !! Always gr8 content man
Wish I could like this video a million times
Nice move giving the lady an umbrella.
I grew up on this spot. I haven't been here in a minute, so I'm not sure how it compares to the 80's and 90's. Back then, you literally had to tell them to stop piling on the cold cuts. What also made this spot unique is that they chopped up the tuna, based upon how many cans you gave them from the stock shelf. I guess now, they're chopping up cold cuts.
Staple of the neighborhood! Been going there since I was a child. It’s one of the places that has remained the same! Appreciate you showcasing them!
This place has been my favorite for years. Although this new gentrified Brooklyn is taking away so many of my favorites I’m glad this place still exists.
I love this place ❤ I used to go here to get lunch whenever I was sent to maintenance class at Fort Green Projects.I used to work for NYCHA.
Brooklyn Sweet Spot across the street is the TRUTH too
Dude gave her his umbrella. God bless you man. Very very cool.
I used to hit this spot with my pops back in the day. Mad love and respect.
What a guy. Those are some good karma points you earned with that lady at the end.
That chopped Turkey they make looks good. Love oven roasted Turkey boars head but honey glaze is good to miss those ny corner store sandwiches they always slapped just gotta know the right spots. Definitely gotta check them out when I’m back in BK. Thanks for another one JL 💪🏼💪🏼 aww that was so nice of you with the churro lady ❤❤
Thank you! Enjoy ya day
Nice move with the umbrella.❤❤❤Go checkout Next Stop Vegan since you’re in Brooklyn. Bangin Dominican vegan grub. The owner is the truth. The only negative is that they don’t have one in Philly.
Oh yes! I’m down
Trust! You won’t be disappointed.😋😋😋
This is a true example why I love watching your channel for years know. JL your a great example of how we all should be and act like. Just AWESOME!!!
Nice gesture giving her the umbrella!! 👍🏾💪🏾

Thanks for giving her the umbrella brother your a nice guy. Love all your video's
Yoo just watched your Munchies episode! It’s crazy to see how far you came in the game! Now you got your own show! 🙏
That chopped turkey looks good. I prefer a little more sweet peppers, and onions.
They definitely make it to order for your liking
Salute 🫡 to you JL Jupiter! Nice gesture on the umbrella 🌂! Keep up your great work!!
One of the best sandwich places in BK. I’ve been going to that place since I was a kid. My family church was right up the street off Adelphi . Kum kua is another childhood favor. Your next stop should be Junior’s
"Can i get 2 for $3?" "So you want 4 for $5?" Churros lady's hustlin. 😂
You do a terrific job. You make everyone feel comfortable. Thank you.
Those sandwiches look so good. That was really nice of you to do that for that lady. I was going to do the same thing a couple of weeks ago but the lady was moving to fast in her motor scooter.
Yes the hustle never stops
@@JLJupiterTV it's chopped up hot or cold
Awe bro what a kind move. You're a good dude.
I remember in the early '80s In my late teens buying honey turkey and cheese sandwich for my grandmother May she rest in peace. Cost $5 If not less back then. I was passing through and stopped off in the store last night. Line for the sandwiches was long and business is flourishing thank God. Good people
JL I haven’t watched you in a while due to being busy, but I'm going to start watching you again. Those heroes looked sooo good! I may need to take a trip to Brooklyn. The churros looked delicious. Giving the lady selling the churros your umbrella was so sweet. You really made her day. Stay blessed.
Everything looks so so good, the chopped, both sandwiches mmmm! And then those churros!! Looked real Yum! The obviously hardworking & talented woman, I loved that clean cart of all her good food and her savvy up-selling! She definitely deserves some wealthy investor to set her up for success with a truck or even a small storefront, though with that cart she’s super mobile. Thanks for giving her the umbrella and business!❤
Honey Turkey hero with everything.
Really unique food, I love these videos.... so addictive. No try hard food, just tasty and creative working class food.
I like the way they chop everything in the sandwich. Everything looked DELICIOUS! 😋
Safe Journey!

Ok I see other places call the hoagie, hero's . The selection sounds amazing. Next time I do a ride share up there I'm gonna check this deli out!! Man never saw anybody chop a tuna and turkey before. I was also marveling at how much turkey they put in it. 🤔
The cuts of the turkey , and ingredients with the veggies, chopped up,can give you a fresh and great and delicious meal to eat.the sandwich are a great size.that’s a person that who knows what to do to make a great sandwich and delicious.there’s a lot of love and understanding heart in getting the job done.
My dude, i been following your content only a couple of months cause it feels real and genuine. That gesture at the end put the needle in the coffin for me, definitely an even bigger fan now
Grew up in Fortgreene in the 70's to late 80's that place was our spot...my best friend still lives across from Fortgreene Park...them sandwiches were not chopped like that back then.
You will always be blessed because of your huge heart!
Bro, you are truly a gift to the community! You do amazing things for businesses and people! Keep up the great work!!
Thank you 🙏🏼
JLJUPITER 🇺🇲💯☮️ Peace and blessings to you and your family and friends 🏆

Looks Alicious in my granddaughter voice
I see why JL keep getting the blessings man just giving that lady umbrella to help sell your food and keep dry. 👍🏽💪🏾🙏🏾😞
Good looking out with the umbrella. I’m definitely going to check out that spot.
Legend has it he is still chopping that one sandwich.
You made it to my old stomping grounds. FORT GREENE STAND UP! We called it Laro’s but The Farmer in the Deli sign was always there. Not sure if Jabar’s is still there but they made dope hero’s too. I grew up in Ingersoll Houses for 30 years, lived through some crazy times in the 80’s and 90’s. Fort Greene will always be home base. There’s a lot of history in Fort Greene. Take a tour sometime. You’d be surprised. I’m glad FITD blessed you with fire hero’s. One Love.
Hey JL. You should get tints for your windows. Will help with exposure.
I'll definitely take the turkey tuna 🐟 and the churro with the powered sugar. 🎉
After you did Kum Kau I just hoped you made your way down the road because it's no way Farmer in the Deli would've let you down 🔥🔥🔥 Literally grew up on these sandwiches and the Hardees Chinese spot was legendary in Fort Greene
That hero looked good. Nice helping the churro lady
I've been getting heroes in from there since I was going to daycare on Delphia. Fort Greene
An Italian combo like that would be unbelievable
Good save brother Yeah we don’t say hoagie in New York
Lol
Watching from Adelaide Australia, just found your videos and I love seeing you showcase good honest people creating fantastic food. Keep it going.
Churro lady hustin...... Salute. And good deed with the umbrella.
Another great video, JL. I saw your Vice video. Late night munchies Philly edition. Dope video and man, you were slushed lol.
That is the only way to make a sub. Everything in every bite.
Interesting. Looks good. Thank you for sharing. I believe, I would like a bit more cheese. Stay blessed.
Brooklyn Hoagies Bro!😁
That hero looks Amazing! He did that!
This reminds me of WHOLESOME FOODS market on Flatbush & Washington Avenues. Their deli has a menu full of unique sandwiches like The Godfather, The Caribbean, etc. My favorite is The Cotton Club Hero with Turkey, Turkey Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Avocado & Honey Mustard Aoli.🥑🥓🍞
There is also a wonderful Trini Restaurant DE HOT POT across gas station on Washington Avenue.
That was so kind of you. The Churros lady sounded so happy.🌂
