Everyone being very careful to make this movie seem non partisan.
Alex Garland rules. And Nick was incredible in Devs.
It's a shame Alex says he's retiring from directing. Thankfully, still writing screenplays and novels.
Leave it to ol' Offerman to help us listen to all the right words.
lol
Im glad to hear its an escape from politics in our current landscape.
Just saw it in a special preview at a NorCal IMAX theatre. Excellence film. You feel as if you are in the midst of each action set piece. I felt that it was naturally partisan, without actually embracing either side in our current US political arena. That it reflected the realities of combat photographers harrowing jobs.
This film really is a beautiful piece of art.
It would be interesting to see Ron Swanson as president. Lol he did something that Leslie never did at the park. Lol.
Bless you, Offerman. What a gift he is.
Your username is a gift
Is it just me or does the President reminds me the energy or likeness of Mitt Romney?
lol. It’s Trump.
"References to Trump"?! Yeah okay. Offerman's character uses the same language as Biden, but okay ... it's also his 3rd term, which implies Obama ...
😂 wut? His character acted exactly like Trump from the very first scene and thru. He was using Trump’s bombastic hyperbolic language immediately in the film.
@@blackout07blue You're not very smart.
Why does a third term imply Obama what ?
@@theman44ful ... Biden is a puppet for Obama, dingus.
Ultimate Political Pandora Box is now Open.
Would be hilarious if Nick Offerman just plays himself as the fascist president
You mean Ron Swanson? Lol.
@@vanikin4lifeand even then, Swanson wasn't a fascist... He was a libertarian, never racist, never sexist. But I understand why you said it because of the scene in the show 😅. He just wants to appear that way, but underneath all that he's just a teddy bear 😂
Offerman is one of the most thoughtful human beings in Hollywood... If you know his written work and live shows, he's definitely not the person you think he is. That's why he's great at what he does on screen
Nick u work for hollywood right....😂😂...just tread lightly....as walt once said...keep it A POLITICAL...like alex designed it....
Lame. He's just at the start and end of the movie
It starts and ends with him. It’s fitting.
This movie is made to cause more fire.
Yea, it came from Hollywood.
@@danielgoggans4012Actually it comes from A24 which is an independent Studio set in New York. Not Hollywood.
See it first, then form an opinion
From all previews it seems like it's trying to do the polar opposite.
@@dereknunn2699Yeah, give money to people you disagree with. Brilliant idea
Orange Man Bad
Because he is fascist, cruel, dishonest, self-serving, divisive, ignorant, quotes Hitler, loves dictators, and tried to overthrow our last election.
Did THR really have to ask every single person on the red carpet about this? Incredibly unprofessional.
@@Holoether You're the opposite of smart.
Had to mention Trump but Biden is the real problem
Neither is a character in this film.
The media lady asking is just dying to make it about trump because she probably thinks it’ll get more views.
What a coward. He says he wasn't inspired by Trump in his character, he was inspired by "the directors vision "... And the director is a Brit who hates Trump. "Some say the best" totaaaalllyyy isn't inspired by Trump at all.
The character is nothing like Trump. It sounds like you haven’t even watched it. The movie is apolitical.
@@Human-shapedbeing That's what people keep repeating, but it's not. People who are on the left think they're centrists, but they're not.
@@Muddyowns People on the left do not think they’re centrists lol that doesn’t even make sense.
@@Human-shapedbeing You're telling me people on the left don't think they're the ones on the right side of history and everyone who disagrees with them is far right?
@@Muddyowns Nope. I’m saying leftist don’t think or want to be centrist. Lol
Irl democrats didn't like Jan 6 but make the movie about a possible aftermath. . In truth they want it
No I'm pretty sure it's called a "cautionary take." Like in the bible. Look it up.
conspiracy brain rot 😵
