When Jason came out from his hiding place it reminded me of the way I got my brothers present wrapped.
I was at the mall, and I asked this wrapping presents stand to wrap the present as awfully as possible. They succeeded, taping on random garbage. I feel like it ended up looking just like Jason but with a bow.

I watched this with my family right before we did the Christmas present opening.
I don't think we have ever opened presents more carefully than that day.
Christmas just got Pixar levels of dark.

Therefore, you grasp so heavily onto any and all of it's content and you can't fathom the idea that there's anything wrong with it. It's ok to have a negative opinion on small aspects of something you respect; it gives you perspective.

Worst present ever was from my grandmother to our family's rich norwegian exchange student. Two pairs of white socks. He would have been less insulted if she pretended to have forgotten he was coming. The look on his face was priceless.

In my family it’s tradition to open half the gifts on Christmas Eve, and the other half on Christmas day, so the gifts would just have to know they’re in pending doom after they watch their brothers and sisters get ripped apart the day before.
