    Lyrics
Lord I must’ve cried the whole 12-hour drive
Didn’t have a clue what without you’d look like
Now it’s been so long and I’ve never been so gone
Putting everything I’ve got left in this song
No don’t you cry, it’ll be alright
    I just need more time
    Hang on, Houston
I miss you as much as you miss me
Darling, truth is it’s still you that holds me in my dreams
My heart never left so don’t move on yet
    I won’t buy a house, I won’t settle down
I won’t make a home out of this ten-year town
I promise I won’t change, say you’ll do the same
Don’t forget my name or my face oh just swear that you’ll wait for me
    Hang on, Houston
I miss you as much as you miss me
Darling, truth is it’s still you that holds me in my dreams
My heart never left so don’t move on yet
    Hang on, Houston
    Hang on, hang on
    Hang on, Houston
I miss you as much as you miss me
Darling, truth is it took losing you
To know where I’m supposed to be
But my heart never left so don’t move on yet

I believe Laci Kaye Booth is the best country singer out there! I am obsessed with her. Every one of her songs is heart-stopping and what a smooth voice. The best - I hope she makes it BIG!!! She deserves it.

This was my story many years ago. I made it home to Houston. Thinking about that time, though, this song made me cry. Now, it's my youngest daughter's story to live in, too. I can't wait until she gets home.
