Just a thought. You guys should do a dream diesel “rebuild” a lot of your viewers probably own Chevy diesels and would love a rebuild that they can’t exactly afford. I know I’m one of those people. I’m 20 and have an lbz on just a lift, rims and tires. Great job on jakes truck btw 🤤

just bought a lbz a couple weeks ago, immediately fell in love, was told it had a new trans put in 50k ago and was driving home from work and it got stuck in 3rd, messed with it and it fixed self then drove it to work the next day and same thing went around a corner and it clunked and wouldn’t shift, any help is appreciated

@@LOGAN22 nah lbz>6.0 . I think the lbz was one of the best diesels ever created other than a 7.3 power stroke, a straight 6 Cummins or a bbb Denali
@@noahjohns7954 nah 6.0 was the best engine ever made 🤷🏼♂️ put new o ringed heads and studs and youre set for life. and you dont have to worry about all the ifs junk that comes on a chevy. so you can actually do 4wd boosted launches without having to replace tierods 🤷🏼♂️
There both great diesels but I would have to say the 6.0 is better. I say that because when you start to put power down on a Chevy diesel things end up blowing up, and yes ik the 6.0 has its issues as well but once the 6.0 gets bulletproofed there probably the best diesel for Power and performance hands down plus it’s pre-emissions. I love all diesels but Chevy parts are expensive and it doesn’t help that there owners think there worth gold when there getting sold. I don’t want to buy a 15-20 year old Chevy diesel for over $30,000. But this is just my opinion but I’d rather take a $15,000 truck that will be reliable then a $30,000 Chevy with 300,000+ miles on it with nothing special under the hood. But I will admit the Cat eyed Chevy’s are a Beaut.
@@countcuda70 oh for sure, hands down Cummins is a beast when it comes to putting some serious power down. I was only comparing Ford and Chevy’s diesels. Well I’m not 100% sure but i think Duramax used aluminum and that’s why they end up having problems. But I do believe Ford started using aluminum as well so idk. But of all 3 types of trucks I would pick a Cummins any day.
I have a 06 5.9 Cummins . Can someone point me in the direction to get some whistle action! 40 over and 4” straight pipe, 5k miles on new internals . Looking for the perfect daily turbo I can HEAR!?! Thanks in advance
