Charli Baltimore discusses her professional relationship with West Coast rapper, The Game. Baltimore met him through Mark Pitts in Philadelphia and eventually began recording with him in New York. She recalls having to prove her songwriting abilities to her peers - they were impressed when she wrote a remarkable record in the studio. Baltimore revealed she almost signed to Black Wall Street, The Game's record label, but didn't due to unsatisfactory terms. The rapper also discussed some of the hindrances she faced during her music career, including an encounter with Johnny Hooks, who allegedly stole money from Vlad. Baltimore reveals how her association with The Game ended when she began working with music producer Scott Storch. She reminisces about her time in Miami with Storch, which, although a crazy phase, proved musically beneficial.

Charli DEFINITELY would've been a bigger star if she hadn't signed to Untertainment and Murder Inc. If she signed directly to a major label she probably would've had more time and money devoted to just her and not having to wait behind Cam'ron, Ja Rule and Ashanti.

He prolly blackballed Charli too, which is why she couldn't get another deal anywhere. Glad, if you were dumb enough to go into business with somebody named "Johnny Hooks," you deserved to get got! Lol. And Charli BMore is an example of a talented artists who just didn't have the right management around her. She was affiliated and/or signed to at least 3-4 well known camps in hip hop, while they were hot, and still never put an album out. Blackwallstreet was just a logo on The game's mixtapes, never a real record label.
