hi! we mostly grabbed to and fro, so it’s always accessible. personally the area didn’t feel shady to me at all, and the gate to the hotel is locked at night so i would say pretty safe!
It's funny when you asked not to expect good drinks from Tichuka. I expected it when I went there a few months back and was totally disappointed too. The place wasn't "that" special as well..seemed more like just another rooftop bar (with a jelly-fishy kinda decor added). To be honest, most of these bars (specifically in Bangkok I guess) have almost completely stopped caring about catering the right kinda drink and food because they know whatever they serve, ppl are there for the ambiance and that's what they care about. RUclipsrs and Instagramers have unfortunately made it to the point that a Bangkok trip is not complete without visiting one of these roof-top bars, and the bar owners are happily taking full advantage of that now.
