@@Zac0827 Imma rephrase it. Wing-Chun is effective as any martial art. However, it is very hard hard to master and learn to actually apply it efficiently, while there is other disciplines that are more effective. The problem that I believe that Wing-Chun haves is that it actually requires a longer time of training and understanding compared to other disciplines. I believe that other martial arts, like kick box, are better because they're faster and straight to point. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings.

Well correct wing chun, which relies on science is one of the best systems for “combat” not “street fight”; Combat.
But even with private lessons, for like a hour per week takes the average time of a year and a half for the practitioner to get on a level to protect themselves for most of the attacks.
But long term wing chun is more effective, of course the scientific one, not trying to make stupid elbow blocks to punches, calling them bong sao.
