- Yandere Simulator now has 10 rivals for all weeks in the game & we can experiment and eliminate them in many different ways..the way you eliminate and how successfully you eliminate them determine the Yandere Simulator ending you will get..I really enjoyed this update, especially the way are you are scored on how well you did...leave a LIKE for another episode ASAP!

I love this version so much, Ryoba and Senpai actually has a personality, There's no info chan which makes the game more interesting, less eyestraining interface plus I love the vhs effects, great lore and even though there's flaws, It has the potential.
yea the "hints" were a bit too obvious but if she was a bit more vague it wouldve been better

honestly, yeah i really like this. it's good for a version 1.0. the voice-acting is great, gameplay seems fun if not a tad buggy, there's a decent amount of content, the scaling system at the end is super cool, and the graphics are standard. if it were any other developer creating this, it could take four years at most to refine it to its best, but sadly it's already taken seven to even get to this point, so there's that.
i feel like this is the version that a storyline should be developed for while the og yansim stays as a sandbox OR gets a massive rework, because it's just not good at what it's trying to do at this point lol
@@user-i9z I agree that original YanSim is an unfortunate irredeemable dumpster fire but I don't think it's realistic to hope he'd dump the game he spent 7 years on :-/ He also unfortunately has a need to prove he can do it so I think he'll cobble together some kind of "finished" product with the main game no matter what. I'm glad I don't really care but it's sad, so much of his life poured into a game that has hopelessly derailed :( Maybe in the future he can develop simpler games, because this 1980s version is enjoyable.

The whole trial system caught me off guard. I didn't realize that the game would legitimately keep track and grade your innocence based on elimination methods, suspicion notices, reputation, and the number of friends you have by the end, even if you were never caught. Adds a whole new element to this game that I didn't think Yan dev would achieve. Gotta give him props for that

Ryoba is VERY good at ironic deaths.
I think it’s actually super neat of the game to give hints about what should happen to each rival. Based on the ways we’ve seen the different elimination methods, nearly all the ways to get rivals out of the way can’t point to Ryoba, and the ones that can can be testified *againt* by making friends at the school and having a good reputation. Also, it makes you wonder if the hints are the canonical ways Ryoba got rid of her rivals in the actual lore, as it’s mentioned that she was deemed innocent and made the detective look like a complete jackass by pinning everything on a “random” “innocent” schoolgirl.
Love how Ryoba isn’t some random character, but is actually Ayano’s mom.

On the part where she says she was cleaning up the school, it's a lot more believable in Japan than in most countries as the students do help with cleaning.
But 2 main problems with this 1 the trash was probably wrapped in the big L shaped thing 2 even if there was trash wouldn't any other students notice and throw it
In this elite school trash on floor means someone will pick it up and I don't it's so much that you would need so many trash bags
Also the reason there is trash in the dumpster is because it's from trash cans
It's also common for Japanese students to sleep/nap in the nurses office (although usually only if they're feeling ill) so that part makes sense too

Honestly, I think Yandere simulator should’ve been released like this, but every rival would be updated once in a while and make them unique like the current ones, but you can still actually play it
I find it a little funny that because there's no info-chan in 1980s mode, the game becomes far more interesting to play. It also gets rid of the panty shot mechanic that a lot of people don't like.

In conclusion, Yandere Dev did Ayano dirty, homegirl had potential in my own opinion
I mean, that is explained because Ayano has an even more intense variant of the condition her mother has, while Ryoba can actually express some emotions and a sweet facade, it's hard for Ayano to do this

Yeah I guess it's like giving a dog a bone. One thing I realized it that he's real meticulous about small details and add ons to his game so I guess it's easier to do this than to actually finish the game.

It’s sad, bc this game had a lot of potential that yandere dev let go to waste by being so possessive over the development and by using badly written code that makes sense to literally nobody but him; so it’s impossible for him to get anyone to help him.
Plus I remember he talk about going to change the 3d model since it's a place holder ... I wonder what happened to that
My guess is that YanDev has already improved his programming skills throughout the development of YanSim, but the messy code written already within the base game was a pain to deal with
Might explain why modes that were written mostly from scratch were easier to develop than building upon the base game, and also why YanDev considered remaking the entire game from scratch

I found it thank you, I don't know what else to say,I know yandere Dev had some demons but jay gave him the benefit of the doubt for so long and now he's cutting that cord.
That's going to kill this game in the end jay is the reason people remembered this game even existed.
Without Jay, yandere Dev is going to have a difficult time getting people to support him in the development of the game if even continues.
At this point I'm convinced we're never going to see the rest of the rivals and yandere Simulator is just going to fall into the void.

I’ve lost any interest with yandere simulator if Jay isn’t included. This is going to be a happy 75 minutes. I’ve already laughed in the first two minutes and the game actually looks good by 4 minutes. Thanks for this video, Jay!

The first 4 (ig 5) were the easiest. When it got to the pool girl I had no idea what to do.

The trial at the end was a very good element; it’s shows that the killing methods, suspicious activities, reputation, etc. does matter. However, I still think the game design needs work. Specifically in guiding the player and game mechanics. Especially since Jay has been playing the game for years and still seems a bit lost in eliminating the rivals. Yandere sim has good concepts, but needs better execution.

@C - Reddit Man and it's still buggy as hell. I tried download it on my laptop, only to have bugged out Ryoba (her whole body is bugged except for the hair), which might've been caused by my laptop but there wasn't any crashing when I turned off the high graphics
This is what I thought. Today I played the game a bit after moths and I didn't know how to do anything. For someone who has never played before it would be reaaally difficult to understand what to do
After all these years, Yan-Chan is still a coward. She’d rather kill everyone than gained the confidence to tell him first

To be honest, I love the 80s mode more than the actual/regular game, I like how it has lore and adds history to the game and shows how everything falls to place in the 'present day' of yandere simulator, I'm so excited to know what Saikou Corp. has to do with Ryoba and why the head master has a deal with Saikou Corp. in the first place about Ayano being in the school.
And I have a little side theory about Ryoba's sister; I believe that she gives birth to Ayato (genderben of Ayano) my be a year or two after ayano was born and when every the evens of what Ayano is facing her rivals, Ayato is facing them as well. Another theory that I have that is about the hairstylist lady is that she's the mother of Info-chan, maybe 1) Info-chan got the red hair from her dad, or 2) she dyed her hair, and she knows how because of her mom.
