I was a recruiter for Tesco until a few months ago, the main thing I was told to look for was personality, this is just based on the applicants ability to have a chat. Id always start my interviews with a question like ‘how was your weekend?’ To try and get the applicant chatting
I tried this and didn't' work for me. After applying for a shelf stacking role, and telling them about me sharing the same entrepreneurial spirit as Jack their founder, they were scared I was going to be their next big competitor and escorted me off the premises immediately.
Be helpful polite with customers Stop government bank entaginism Give people their receipts They have made a purchase When asked a question Answer Don't be ignorant Give us our receipts You are not saving the environment As court paperwork is your objective Is Tescos Goal Anti social Afraid not give us what you are Entitled .
To be honest none of these questions came up in my interview my questions were hard and I didn’t even get the job as I was revising for the wrong questions
My questions were tell me about a time u worked in a team tell me about a time u helped a family member or friend when they were upset and tell me about a time where you had to be resilient even though u were struggling
