So true. I got into NCT DOJAEJUNG bc very single song on the album is amazing and I really love that sound. With NCT 127 I only knew a few songs (limitless, Favorite and Sticker and back then I didn't like sticker. hehe now I love it so much). Also, nct as whole is divided by units; nct 127, nct dream, Wayv(the Chinese unit) and nct u (signifies nct united so when they all come tgt for an album, different members feature on different songs depending on the sound of it ex; if it’s more vocal oriented, they’ll mix up some vocalist from different units for this song) Here are some songs I recommend from each units (I’m really slow r&b biased, don’t blame me😭) Nct dream- teddy bear, poison, 7 days and life is still going on Wayv- moonwalk, domino and only human Nct u- the 7th sense, light bulb,faded in my last song, from home (rearranged version and the mama live version), I.O.U, round&round and OK! To make smt clear, nct as a whole has 20 members, 3 left this group for different reasons but you’ll see, from their oldest to newest mvs new members bc they didn’t all debut at the same time. When NCT came out, there were a lot of 'internet' people who didn't like Firetruck, their debut title song and called their music 'noise' music, because the song is just so different from what people are used to. The people obviously didn't check out NCT's b-sides which aren't like the title tracks. All of NCT's title tracks are 'loud', hard-hitting songs to make an impact because the title tracks are the songs that they promote when a new album releases, so it has to make some kind of impact for people to buy the album. So Lemonade is one of their songs (out of a few) that clearly is a song to tell the haters that the haters commenting and hiding behind a screen to say negative stuff is also 'noise' to NCT. NCT sipping on Lemonade, meaning that they are chilling and thriving while the haters are busy thinking of ways to hurt NCT's reputation by creating fake accusations/scandals etc. Simon Says is another song addressing the haters, really good song. I'm not saying just NCT who gets hate, but ALL idols whether they are soloists or in a group gets hate for whatever reason from people on the internet. Like we actually don't know these idols on a personal level, we only know what we are shown on TV, internet, fan meeting, concerts etc. People on the internet don't want to see people succeed in life???

NCT's label (SM Entertainment) isn't terribly fussed by lyrics being sometimes non-sensical or always having proper English grammar and/or pronunciation... you just kinda have to roll with it. SM seems to live by the motto that it's not always about what something means, but how it sounds (ie 2 Baddies, 1 Porsche lol). This is in addition to there being a translation gap between how some things come across in Korean as opposed to English and vice versa... which is not specific to SM by any means, just the nature of being unfamiliar with cultural references, idioms, jokes, tongue twisters and such of another country/language.

As an Nctzen I think a lot of momentum was lost with 127 after they gained amazing traction from Kick It. They kinda put them aside and waited too long only to come up with Sticker which was a lot disliked.
