Thanks man, just solo'd this tonight as a Prot Warrior with dps gear and Souldrinker. Kept forgetting to use a pvp trinket, but was still pretty easy. The shield helps out a lot when she's dazing you and Kael is pyro blasting :D

But thanks to this tactic i was able to clear him on the first try forgot to clear tras to kael + other boss so i got them + the 4 adds + 4 weapons on me , pop'd all my cooldowns and survived it , kael'thas himself was pretty easy , best part of all GOT MY MOUNT
I just want to say thank you very much for this guild. I was able to do solo Kael'thas Sunstrider this as an elemental shaman that is using restoration gear being that my main spec is a healer. Everything that was shown in this video still works as of MoP patch 5.1.
Hey Tango, consider substituting one or two pieces of gear for "fire protection" pieces, then. If you have a Drums of Forgotten Kings buff along with 2 pieces of fire resist gear, you should be easily above 250FR. You'll resist more than half of all fire damage, and while you will lose a ton of health stats and damage, it may be what you need to live through the fire. Also, get yourself a glyph of AMS. 2 second longer AMS allows you to AMS through 2 consecutive pyroblasts.
Anyways, I think you will also find that as you successfully do the fight about 3 times your execution will become much better and it will feel a lot less panick-y. If you aren't already, consider speccing into Lichborne. That way if you do catch an unlucky disorient/flamestrike, you can just Lichborne, target yourself, Vampiric Blood, and Death Coil yourself 2x and you'll be at full HP in no time.
Keep recuperate up, and don't be afraid to use every cooldown you have to kill the mage. Garrote might work to silence as an opener on her, dance, preparation, use it all.
You can pop army, but she will still use her AOE pushback (and it will affect the army) if you get close to her. If you're having trouble getting through the all-4-adds phase, use every cooldown you've got. You shouldn't really need them for KT. Now also keep in mind if you use a trinket or human racial, you can probably leave the last of the 4 adds up for most of your trinket cooldown timer, then kill him when you're close to having your trinket available again.
Easily! It's all about the execution. But really, just use your Frost gear and quickly put together a Blood offspec, since the self heals are really nice for soloing stuff. You'll need to grab a decent 2hander though (I just use the Axe of the Tauren Chieftains out of 5mans)
I got killing the advisors down pat. I ended up getting kt down to 50k then 30k. That pesky arcane disruption (disorient) and flame strike combo can kill me. I trinket it first time but obviously its not gonna be up that quick. Is that all about luck, cause sometimes I wander out of the flame strike while disoriented. And I did get him down but it seemed SUPER lucky...
how the heck do you avoid the Charmed debuff? i can easily get him down then he casts that and resets the encounter.. pretty frustrating.. i do use the pvp trinket but it does it again and resets
Just did it on 2nd try as Goblin Blood DK level 85 in panda greens (ilvl 372). Only hard part I had was buring the girl fast enough, so I didn't have to deal with her and the toy debuff/ fears. Think they patched out the MC with pets. Never had a problem with my ghoul or worms... might have been luck though.
You doing it as a DK now? I haven't tried to solo this recently, but what I'm hearing through the grapevine is that spawning Bloodworms or ANY OTHER pet now is an invitation to get instantly mind controlled. Some change in a recent patch, but not gamebreaking. This didn't used to be the case as you can see in my video. Try it as Frost, or if you aren't a DK, put away your pet. The encounter is still designed such that if you are the only TARGET in the raid, you will NOT get MCd.
Trash to Voidy + solarian i ment , and did this as a fury warrior didn't lose any hp on Kael really thanks to second wind just save your reckless etc for the 2nd phase

Dks are not the only class that can do that, i've seen paladins, druids and warriors do it to, im trying to do it as a demonology warlock
How so? I do perfectly fine up until Kael where I get pyrod 3x for 45k and end up dying...
