22 Yamaha YZ250F vs 22 Husky FC350 Lap TIme Comparison

Did a single lap back to back on a 2022 Yamaha YZ250F and 2022 Husky FC350 to see which one I was faster on. Rode a fun old school GP style track that was a bit overgrown in a few sections on a very hot and humid day. These back to back lap time comparisons are a fun way to quickly compare bikes.
The YZ250F revs quickly and has impressive low to mid power for a 250F. The KYB suspension works for a wide range of rider skills and weights. The new for '22 model year MX33 tires work well and the bigger 450F rear wheel and tire (110/90) give some extra traction out back. Ergos are unique with a short distance between the seat and footpegs yet the handlebars are far forward and tall in the as delivered forward mounting hole. I did a 2:19.01 lap time on the YZ250F
Next up is the FC350. The 10mm lower suspension is immediately noticeable with a low seat height. The lower suspension works great in the corners too as the bike effortlessly leans into and flows around corners. The FC350 has a planted feel on track that gives confidence to push harder. I did a 2:12.71 lap time....6.3 seconds quicker than the YZ250F! The FC lap did not feel 6 secs quicker!
