My mom is not a TV person, but she has been a single mother for 20+ years (she's still raising a few more....3....) and she is loving this trailer so far. She even said the lead who was a single parent for 5 months was a baby and that she used to be overproductive as a parent in the first few months too. Glad to possibly have something to watch with her.
Spotted: Queen B changed her status to mommy and S is no where to be seen. Guess she's done with the upper east side, but the upper east side isn't done with her. We'll be watching.

I feel like this would probably do better as a movie than a sitcom. Yet another example of an ABC show with an interesting premise that likely won't last because it doesn't have the proper basis for longevity. If this lasts more than one season, I'll be shocked. I will certainly try it though, the cast looks diverse enough to pique my interest.

I loved this show a lot. It kind of feels like characters of the good place, but on earth and with kids (the dummy of the group, the rich one, girl with bob and attitude and the nice guy)

If they had just named it parents and showed the struggles of all that the show probably would've lasted longer. It makes no sense when they're no longer single. They need to bring it back and especially now since the kids are now all near teens😂 nothing more harder than that 😩

Yes! They even got a second season and so far I find it really great!
For some reason, this reminds me of the 2012/2013 series Go On. ...There is a specific and unique reason that bonds the group together here as well. I loved that NBC series, and wished it went on longer for sure.
'Single Parents', however, seems more forced and convoluted, lacking a sincerity and a down to earth simpleness.
Unfortunate, because the cast seems good.
