Blown away. From a weekend kit, unbelievable. It seems I'm 5 years behind but at age 69 years and learning, I need to see masters like you at work and keep trying.
***** at 8;45 minutes into the video you are doing something to a decal I've note seen before, it looks like you're peeling off the carrier film from the decal somehow, could explain what is happening there because you've boggled my mind !! :) Fantastic build btw !! :D
You have inspired me man, all the extras put in, and that cockpit and engine detail is insane! Definitely an award winer, and the washes were looking fiiiiiiiiinnnnnnneeeee
Sir, your model work is absolutely outstanding. I have been building models of all kinds since I was 8, I am now 53. I have learned more tricks from you than I can think off. Great videos and with superb illustrations… keep up the good work for our younger viewers, this older viewer enjoys them as well.
OMG. The detail. The skill. So so clever. Work of art. I used to build Tamiya motorcycles. They turned out alright, but this is another level. Make that 100 levels.
Whenever I build or watch a video about scale modelling, I always wonder what future archeologists, human or not, would think of our models after unearthing them. Thousands of miniature versions of vehicles built by a species long gone. All similar yet each one unique. Would they be put in museums like the pottery and sculptures of the Ancient Egyptians? Or would they be destroyed like those of countless other civilisations. Since plastic takes thousands of years to decay, I think our creations would still be beautiful for years to come.
Tomcat Model Kits Well, that got philosophical, fast. XD. Im kidding though. I doubt it, the plastic may not decay but the glues and paints we use will. Who knows, 100 years ago we used stuff we would rarely touch nowadays, perhaps they will destroy our models as we're using some kind of not yet known highly toxic chemical
The attention to details tho.Such a beautiful amazing build I love it.Really enjoyed watching it from start to finish and seeing this plane come to life.Great job
When I was young in the mid-70s and in group home I built military dioramas but always did armor because it could be pulled off without an airbrush, more or less. I put them in a hobby store in LA and then was released from the group home. When I finally went back to retrieve them a year later they were gone, but dioramas of a similar quality were going for hundreds of dollars. I didn't even know they could be sold. As an adult I've made a career as a Photorealist oil painter. At one point I thought I''d like to get back into modeling but the craft has advanced so much that to be competitive would be too time consuming. Very impressive seeing how things have advanced in four-plus decades.
Wow, I'm speechless, Martin! What you did with this FW is far beyond masterpiece! It's so full of details and the weathering? World Class, my friend, world class. Cheers, Radek
Too amazing!: I can hardly believe what Ive just witnessed!! I used to build many models,.... but never did I imagine going to the extremes that you practice!: BRAVO!
Seeing you were opening the box on an Eduard weekend edition, I wasn't expecting much. I was very wrong as you have turned what in essence is a basic kit into a showpiece. Very well done on this excellent example of what can be done with some patience and a lot of skill. Why one person decided to give this a thumbs down... is beyond words. Thumbs up from me.
I have this exact same kit at home, waiting it's turn on the bench for more than a year. After seeing the absolutely beautiful job David did with his FW, I don't know... mine may never get done now... great job!
and a big roll of lead wire......and citadel white paint.Love watching the scratch building. The plastic warning signs is a great idea, the postman doesnt agree. But the dogs happy.happy christmas.
top work again David on your 190. just simply fantastic, as all your work, just the work of a skilled artisan, a true genius, as always, a maestro. well done again mate.
You must be the new standard by which modellbuilding- greatnes is measured. At 08:51 the separation of the film from the national emblem is a thing I have never seen before...You've nailed it!
Wonderful work, Thanks for sharing. I am new at building and it helps me to see the bottles, colors or glues you use. Even a photo or two of your more common tools. Thanks again!!
David, with your extraordinary artistry, you should publish a book on some the techniques you demonstrate in more detail. Thank you for posting. I am always inspired by your videos.
300 000 views, it is totally unbelievable. Thank you all for watching. I will buy a bottle of champagne.
PLASMO - plastic models
Is it possible to apply the Mr Color primer with a paintbrush?
If you use paintbrush you do not need a primer.
PLASMO - plastic models
Oh alright. Great video by the way!
I must admit at least 10 of the views are mine as I'm working on the same model and trying to learn from the master :)
PLASMO - plastic models
Why did you have to peel the paper from the Balkenkreuz on the top wing?
If I'll ever need a heart surgery I'm going to e-mail this guy.
lol wait what?
I would recommend a Heart Surgeon
Hahaha! Good one!
@alex. Who not?
@@UKMusicCharts-UK joke isn't a familiar word for you is it?
You're not fooling anyone. That is a life size plane and you're just a giant person.
You got me.

It's crazy how much detail you put in a part that's going to be barely visible, you are truly a dedicated talent.
I've come back and watched this video about five times now; I learn something new every time. This is absolutely stunning! Keep up the great builds.
You got some mad skills.
Blown away. From a weekend kit, unbelievable. It seems I'm 5 years behind but at age 69 years and learning, I need to see masters like you at work and keep trying.
Absolute loveliness in plastic. Simply stunning.

British comedian Bill Bailey says he deliberately buries spoons in his garden to confuse the archaeologists of the future!! 🤣
