- Yay, made it a whole year without a cigarette.
Thanks to my friends and family for all their support this past year and thanks for your comments and the time to take a look at my vids.
That's me done for cigarettes, there's just no appeal at all anymore and that's something I never thought I would say.
Best of luck to all that are deciding to quit. Don't let the **** win. Fight fight FIGHT!

Just a quick update - I celebrated my third year without cigarettes the other day and loving the fact that despite my initial apprehension (and not actually wanting to quit to be honest), I surprised myself and actually did it. Three years, doesn't time fly!
These days, smoking is a distant memory to me only remembered by these videos I made and remembering the fun (and the bloopers) I had making them to keep me occupied during those first dreadful days, weeks and months....and of course, the horror when I see the price of a packet of cigarettes these days. eek!
To all the ex-smokers I know that said 'it gets easier' to which I grumbled 'yeah, maybe for you, but not for me', I humbly admit that you were SO right and I cherish the moment when I realised six months in, that I can actually beat these things.
...and to all you folk out there who are thinking about or in the process of quitting cigarettes my very best wishes go out to you. If I can help, here I'll be.

Your a legend mate, down to earth and easy to listen to... I'm gonna smoke my last one in a couple of hours (been smoking about 20 a day from 18-31) To hear you are totally free is amazing, and gives me that extra boost, as I know I can do it, no matter, how many times ive tried in the past. I know u said this was your last video, but would be cool to have another update if u find the time. Merry Christmas Steve :)
Hey Abirsk1, thanks ever so much and congratulations on hitting a whopping 105 days. You're on you way mate, keep going, i know i will. Just think, with all that money saved, you can hit the slots ;)...maybe not eh!
So great to hear from folk who have decided to give it a go and even better when you see the milestones reached, 1 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 1 week, 1 month etc. Two big thumbs up to you buddy and here's to a happier and healthier future.

Hey this is Steve (TheZx64). Google seems to have binned my credentials for this RUclips account hence this comment is via another account i have. I guess, because i haven't accessed it for so long and it predates the Google+ /RUclips account merging? Any-ho, its me (honest!) and just wanted to post that today i'm celebrating my fifth year as a non smoker. I haven't touched one of the little blighters since then but what is surprising when i look back at all these videos i made, is how quickly time has passed. It only feels like yesterday.
Am i still glad i quit? You betcha, especially considering how much a packet costs these days. I'm also glad that i decided to quit prior to the boom of e-cigerettes and other vapour based whizzy things...i would only guess that they might have prolonged the time to kick the habit?
Hope all who are quitting are hanging in there. It really does get better.
