Let's see how the Market Parking Garage Dover DMC Elevators in Roanoke, VA are doing in July 2023

- (July 2023) It has been a LONG time since I have filmed in Roanoke so I figured why not? I am off work today so I figured I would check up on the Market Parking Garage since the Church Ave. elevator had been down for some time due to the jack needing repacking. Recently it opened back up so let's see how it is doing! One thing I noticed is they seem to have cleaned some of the windows so the view is great!
The Luck Ave. elevator was low on fluid and had a broken call station on the ground floor. We will ride this elevator in the video as well. I hope you enjoy the video!

I absolutely luv luv this retake. Thank goodness these elevators are in good shape. I’m hoping they stay around forever. Gotta love Dover impulse and the glass of these. Also super happy that I saw ducy Claus and the real dieselducy. No doubt to explain how much I love love these elevators
Great update video! They seem to be doing pretty well overall besides some of the questionable sounds heard while the elevators were moving.
They have always made some interesting shaft noises. Shame this model is obsolete

Market Parking Garage Elevator was a shining star for a long time.
I really love Dover Impulse elevators, unfortunately the ones in UH Cleveland are getting modernized by Schindler.
The Luck Avenue elevator still makes unpleasant sounds going down from the 2nd floor but otherwise both lifts run great
I do hope to visit Roanoke before these elevators are no more as I love these elevators. The days of a Mid 90s Dover where I live has been modernized by MEI (that being my guess) with a fixture I’ve never seen before

Pearlridge Mauka Elevator inside the shopping center is almost like this one. Also custom impulse and has the famous chewbacca motor. The shopping center has other elevators too but not like the dover one!

Yes he did he been there many times and the elevators there are amazing and also the market square walkway has an amazing elevator too

How would someone go about cleaning all the windows inside the shaft? Would they use the elevator car top to move up and down?? At slower service speed, of course!

I noticed these elevators use the Uk way of counting floors g and then 1 instead of 1 and 2
That’s weird how each elevator is different like the windows. The first one has the back window on the second one has the side window and the second one five and six don’t have a glass of you.
