Honestly, I'd never considered buying one of these until I saw it in action. The price is a bit much, but can see it being a fun kid's toy AND a nice collector doll
I was not planning to buy this to be honest, because the mirror just isn't exactly something I wanted but the doll is definitely something I wanted for my collection. I was lucky enough to get it on sale and using some gift cards for Target, it was very cheap. I'd definitely suggest for people to wait for a sale, at the same time it's a really well made doll, though the clothes could be better quality. It would be nice to see this doll released in a cheaper version without the mirror, but it's unlikely that would happen. I'm really glad I have at least one for my collection. Here's hoping I can find the other ones at a thrift store someday. 😆
She's such a pretty doll. I really wish they'd make versions of these where it's just the dolls. I understand why they don't, the interactivity is the main draw, to be fair. I'm just complaining because I'm poor and want one, and I'm sure there are so many children out there who think these are neat but their parents could never afford them. I'm rambling real bad tonight HELP, but, yeah, I do think she's really pretty!
I totally agree! I can only really get the one, I can't justify buying more because the mirror is most of what you pay for. I'm really hoping to find these for really cheap someday at discount stores or thrift stores.

You are the second content creator I've seen get the special edition, congratulations! I have the regular one and the Walmart exclusive and am waiting for the Amazon version to go on sale. I understand the special edition is one in six and I do want one but the thought of buying more with the plastic is too much.
I was so surprised I got the Special Edition Shimmer Luna. I'd love to get the rest of the dolls, but I can't justify buying more of the mirrors. Magic Mixies is bound and determined to clutter my home with cauldrons, crystal balls and mirrors. 😆
@@BearlyUnboxed With the Mirrors and the plastic coffin boxes from Monster High, I've been giving them to savers. I figure someone might want them. Wish they could be recycled.
@Spidrick I thought about donating them but then I think, if I ever wanted to resell them, I'd like to have the containers for them. But I might just have to start donating them to cut down on clutter.

Alternatively, without the box taking most of the budget, they could invest the resources into more articulation and more intricate outfits!
