Sunny definitely isn't my favorite, but I always try to find something about a doll that I like. Slime Sunny has a really cute face, but the tinsel is quite a lot! Haha! I think my favorite Sunny is the Winter Break one that came out a few years ago. Thanks for rewatching!

@@BearlyUnboxed With the Mirrors and the plastic coffin boxes from Monster High, I've been giving them to savers. I figure someone might want them. Wish they could be recycled.

I totally agree! I can only really get the one, I can't justify buying more because the mirror is most of what you pay for. I'm really hoping to find these for really cheap someday at discount stores or thrift stores.

Alternatively, without the box taking most of the budget, they could invest the resources into more articulation and more intricate outfits!

I was not planning to buy this to be honest, because the mirror just isn't exactly something I wanted but the doll is definitely something I wanted for my collection. I was lucky enough to get it on sale and using some gift cards for Target, it was very cheap. I'd definitely suggest for people to wait for a sale, at the same time it's a really well made doll, though the clothes could be better quality. It would be nice to see this doll released in a cheaper version without the mirror, but it's unlikely that would happen. I'm really glad I have at least one for my collection. Here's hoping I can find the other ones at a thrift store someday. 😆

That really stinks! I hate how people take advantage of others by reselling at a ridiculously high price. Mattel has recalled all the dolls but I can bet they will be sending them back out with updated packaging in time for the holidays. So definitely wait it out, don't pay extra to get one. I'm sure Mattel is fast tracking these back to stores since the movie comes out in a week. I actually tried to buy another Wicked doll, it was a singing Glinda doll, from Target and it was flagged at the register for a recall. So they had to take it to send back. I imagine most stores have sent or will be sending them back.

Deluxe Elphaba is absolutely gorgeous. I totally understand wanting to wait for a sale, Deluxe Glinda's dress is not the best quality.

That's definitely a stretch. The link was meant to send people to the movie website, as the doll is promoting the movie Wicked based on the musical. Having it mistakenly send people to a porn site is definitely not a good thing for a toy designed for children. It was a mistake on Mattel's part and they are recalling the dolls to fix the issue. Ariana Grande is a delightful musician and actress and calling her an "obscene adult entertainer" is indicating she's something she isn't. There's no need to be rude. Also, accusing Mattel of trying to get children interested in obscenity is disgusting.

@@BearlyUnboxed You don't think Ariana is obscene? Let me ask you then, do you think songs with lyrics containing the N word, P word, D word and references to sex are fine for children?

The movie is rated PG. It's kind of like there being Five Nights at Freddy's merchandise for children, based on the subject matter of Five Nights at Freddy's. The point is, worry about YOUR children, and don't concern yourself with the parental guidance parents give to their OWN children.

@@Scripture-Man the topic is about how the packaging has an inappropriate link printed on the boxes. I think most people can agree that's not what was intended, so Mattel is fixing their mistakes. It has nothing to do with Ariana in particular, so I'm not sure why you are hung up on that aspect. You seem to be making this about your dislike of Ariana. We get it, you don't like her. Her music is not for everyone and definitely is not geared towards children, it's geared for adults. She's playing a character in Wicked, not playing herself, there's a difference. If you don't want your children to see the film or listen to her music, that's perfectly fine. To each their own.

I went to Target yesterday and they had one Wicked doll on the shelves. I tried to buy it out of curiosity and it was flagged at the register to be recalled. They had to take it and I wasn't allowed to buy it. Hopefully they will be repackaging the dolls with updated boxes and sending them back out. Considering the movie comes out in 10 days from now, I'm unsure the dolls will make it back in stores in time. 🫤

I haven't heard about it being made using AI, just that the website was listed incorrectly. Though I assume AI could have accidentally used the wrong website. I totally agree, I would never have visited the website listed on the box without first knowing about the issue with it being incorrect.

@@BearlyUnboxed I feel like we buy so much online these days that you LITERALLY already went to a website to BUY the items, who would go to a website on a box after the fact? Anyway, I read a lot of graphic artists commenting that they would literally put, "thewebsitegoeshere" on their packaging mockups, until the website was actually approved in copy, which is why it's assumed the box was created using AI.

Yes, this is a good time to check out discount stores. I was at a TJ Maxx yesterday and they are getting lots of toys. Sadly I saw no Rainbow High dolls though. I'm always happy to find RH and SH dolls at the thrift store. It's not very common, which I think shows how much they are loved.

I totally understand that we all can't live every character or doll, I definitely have favorites! Bella's Costume Ball look is my favorite! She would look so cute in the budget Bella outfit too.

I didn't originally set out to collect them all, it just kind of happened. There's still a few I don't have and I'm okay if I don't get them. My doll collection is a reflection of me, what I find fun about dolls is how many different ones there are to collect and everyone's collection is their own and unique like they are. Just like your collection. I feel like SH is so you and don't ever feel like your collection is inferior to others' collections. It's yours and yours alone to be what it is. 💜😊

@BearlyUnboxed My collection, both my SH/RH collection and my other collections have a large percentage of goth dolls and redheads, and a decent amount of Asian dolls because I love dressing goth and I find redhead dolls to be especially beautiful. I also love dolls that really remind me of the Storm Twins, so since getting them, the amount of dolls who wear goth fashion or wear black or purple have definitely increased in my collection, and it has really helped with N and V's many goth or purple restyle options. I guess my collection has grown to reflect my love for the Storm Twins as well as my love for goth fashion and aesthetics. While I sometimes wish that my RH collection was more complete, I don't regret completing my Shadow High collection at all.🖤💜

I absolutely love your collection, it sounds amazing! I also love redhead dolls too. In fact, most of my recent custom RH/SH dolls I did for Halloween have red hair. I heard that SH is coming back and the rumor is they'll be the budget style dolls.

I appreciate you sending them to me so much! I feel rather lucky to own the Bratzillaz dolls as they aren't easy to find. I'm totally okay not having the broomstick combs, maybe I can find some on ebay. Really, again, thank you so much!
