I played with the Wendy painted Wonderland's War at the Retreat. Oh man, it was so awesome. It made the game so great. The lady I played with immediately found someone to paint her copy because she couldn't go back to playing it unpainted, again. Wendy's a magician.
I too painted all of these minis and it’s so interesting to hear how similar our experiences were. I’m a novice painter so it’s nice to hear the areas that’s were tougher for you, as those were tough form me too. They look great!!
Thanks for the video! They look great :) can you tell me, is it only the deluxe version that comes with the miniatures? I understand the base game only has cardboard standees.

@@DTWendy Not TOO bad. I did all those swirling lines on the body in purple, which was real hard. Black is hard to paint over!
@@ryangilmore3678 I tried a few different things and finally said good enough. It definitely wasn't worth showing off in this video 😅
@@DTWendy Haha same. I also used a purple wash on the body to get into those grooves and hopefully bring out the color.
