Pretty fun and fascinating to watch----I didn't even know bobcats could swim. Never seen that before. And it was fun to watch the ducklings scamper across the log, the baby bear almost slip off the log, and the bobcat leaping into the air like it was gliding past the cameta, lol.
These videos are a wonderful gift to those of us who may not see that range of wildlife in our day to day lives. You do a beautiful job, and your efforts to bring us these amazing videos are much appreciated. Thank you.
The porcupine talking at 4:08 cracks me up. I just love these videos. My late dad was a great outdoorsman - I grew up watching him trap, hunt and fish. Last year when he was sick I showed your videos to him on his tablet and he really enjoyed them. Thank you for gifting this to us.

Hello from Australia. Thank you for doing these videos..they are so pure, relaxing and endearing. And you have so many animals we don't have over here..raccoons! wild cats! omg bears!, squirrels!
What always gets me is the heron's neck stabilization. I've seen chickens do it, I know birds have specialized muscles for that kind of thing, but it's just so cool to watch. It's so much more pronounced on a bird that's like 50% neck.
Reminded me as I watched and listened to the natural world of a Navajo prayer that translates something like Beauty above me, beauty below me, beauty before me, beauty behind me, beauty all around me, in beauty I walk. Yes, we are part of this wonderful natural world as well. I'm glad you put yourself there as well. In peace.
Thank you for this! I’m in San Diego and don’t have the privilege of seeing such diverse, relaxed wildlife native to your lands. Very stress relieving.
I love watching these log logs. ;o) Even more so now that I looked up the causes of foam on creeks, and found that in most places it's natural, caused by the breakdown of organic life - mostly vegetation and insects.
Fascinating and beautiful scene throughout the yearly seasonal cycle depicting a myriad of diverse wildlife crossing a natural stream. Wonderful! Novel! Reveals a brilliant imagination with a true appreciation for nature in it's undisturbed accurate state. Really marvelous!
So many different animals running, swimming, climbing, flying into the scene ... So beautiful to watch! Thank you so much for filming and sharing this movie!
I absolutely love your videos, but the compilations from the log are my favorite! And I didn’t know bobcats swim. Thank you for sharing your videos! When I am too stressed to sleep, I visit your page and find peace with nature and the animals. ❤️❤️
Didn't that look bigger than the cat that's usually showing itself? I thought it looked more like a mountain lion! I'm referring to the August 8th clip...
THANK you so much. Found this via Samantha Bee during election. ( Am in England and have 3 badgers, mum, dad, cub (protected wildlife) living under my garden shed in suburbia. It's a hugely positive addition to my day and life. They garden for me and I don't care. Thanks again.
That was fabulous!! Thank you so much for this. Loved the porcupine grunts as well. The little ducklings made going over the log look easy. This made my soul smile.
I feel so incredibly humble by watching the beautiful wonderful wildlife here it’s absolutely stunning what a great ecosystem and environment for wildlife not sure if food is abundant but it’s so lush beautiful it would seem that food is not a problem for all of the wildlife there just heartwarming thank you
this really makes me think about how even one log is so important to animals. imagine if the log was never there - they'd have no way to cross the stream.
Well, they would find another way. Either another log or a string of rocks or just swim across. It does make it easier on them to have a log bridge though.
When I watched the first video I left a comment on how relaxing and calming it was for me to see and hear all the animals and nature sounds. This video has done it again. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for doing what you do to bring joy to myself and others.
New subscriber here because this is the best trailcam footage I’ve ever seen! Loved the seasonal River changes along with that cat swimming trying to sneak up on lunch. Thank you sir for this excellent footage.
You have the absolute best spot for a wildlife camera. The diversity in animals is awesome. The spot where there was a heron and a big splash I was trying to figure out, then I saw the beaver swim under the log. The other one was where the bobcat was swimming to the log at first looked like a long tailed cat. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Are you SURE that swimming cat was a bobcat? Looked like it's tail was much too long for bobcat and it was bigger. Any chance it was a young cougar? I love trail cams and The Log series is excellent. So many animals and such good photography.
I want to live there with them, have them as my neighbors and friends. That would always have been my happiness, but I didn’t know it until right now, at 63. Maybe I still can.
Thank you! So fun to watch. It is interesting how some lumber across and others are so graceful! I do a lot of wildlife photography and always enjoy seeing animals in their natural habitat. I wish I had this magical place!!!
AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much for this!! I loved seeing and hearing the critters and watching the changes of the landscape during the seasons. Here's hoping there is "The Log 4" this time next year!!!!
Amazing video collection! My wife and I Really enjoyed it. Especially the heron, what a great location. Just found your channel, a bit late...but looking forward to the videos. 😊👍
I believe wildlife tends to follow the same trail. Players will continue to revisit the same path over and over. In one of the videos I noticed something worked very much like a wolf. As farting. Right now the wombs have not been in Pennsylvania for some time. Is that a fox or was one of the night vision where he was standing across the river a wolf or was it a fox?
They can be quite loud! I was testing out an audio analyzer app on my phone one day and just after I turned it on a GBH flew by. It was just about ear level with me on the bank as it let out a loud call. I was too amazed to try to record the frequency and db level, but it blew me away!

I had a mother racoon and 3 babies in my yard last year...I would wake up at 5am just to watch them. They would follow their mother in a single file line across the yard and into the tree. I love nature. I don't know why but the bobcat swimming at night seems odd
Altogether, a most WONDERFUL selection of so many Species!! Love seeing all the Bobcats, Bears, Mink and Porcupine..(Wonderful little commentary by him/her)! THANK YOU, Bob!

Felt bad for the deer. It wanted to walk the log too.
I don't think it was surprised. "Nope. Still can't."
I panicked when the deer fell of the log! I was relieved when he got back up
I felt bad for her too!
Walk Of Shame award goes to the deers
Maybe a wide log would help
as a human, I would never assume that SO MANY animals use a log bridge like this
except for the beaver who probably is a bit annoyed at having to go underwater cause this log blocks the creek
"As a human" 😕
Nice try there Mr. Beaver 😏
nobody likes wet feet lol
As a beaver, I can confirm this. Fickers treat my damn like a bridge
