If u hit a lp charge knuckle non perfect aka fully charge, drive rush cr hp x run cancel, st hk hits at last frame for +1 ob and +8 oh, in corner swap cr hp with cr mp for same setup
I use this setup situationally, Luke has so many combo routes in general, he has perfect routes and non perfect routes, i just blend them all together to keep the opponent guessing on oki
He has another setup off non perfect charge lp, he can go for a drive rush st Hk for a midscreen safe jump, of course this also means double dash into a strike/throw mix. I feel like Luke has way more depth than just his perfect knuckle routes
Especially now that they lowered his dmg, going for setups such as these have more reward, just landing that st hk on a foe foolish enough to press or jump can lead to huge dmg
True, the corner carry is better, but personally, I don't think the combo overall is worth the 3 stocks. Ending in light knuckle maybe best overall imo
@@FlawlessJ535 Agree, that is why meterless corner carry of Ken is so damn awesome, downplay game of Ken players super successful, this character even better than S1, a character with equally good tournaments results(even slightly better) than Luke got buff and close to zero nerf, ridiculous Ken is a lot better than S1 if you considered most of the T0 character got big/moderate nerf(Luke, DJ, JP, Chun)
Luke's side switch combo has also been improved, he has the oki option to use the overhead now I wanted to know what the maximum damage Luke could do from a DI combo on the wall
I’m completely new to meaties, also learning Luke. I’m trying to do meaty off low sweeps and heavy DPs but I keep missing my timing and getting thrown or hit. What buttons should I be using to meaty and how do I time it better?
It means you're mistiming the back hk. There's actually 1 frame u can't crouch as you're waking up. So, even if you're crouch blocking, your hurtbox will appear to be standing. This is what makes instant overheads possible.
I think this tackle buff shines in the corner as they cant walk and during burnout as it becomes plus 7. I didnt know about DDT meaties and I like Using crouch light kick to setup the meaty knee. I was dashing for that specific one. Because if the midscreen knuckle into tackle bnb
Thank you so much for this video! I've been stuck in 1700 MR+ and I'm looking for new things to add up
Np dude! Glad it helped :)

Yea, I tested, and it works. But, probably not the most optimal route, as you can get more damage and better oki for the same amount of meter.

Great video will learn these big thanks !
Feels like Akuma is always on the brink of death😂😂😂
Nice nice. Tryna leave gold and this hopefully should help
Bro i love this more luke plz 🙏
great vid, bro ! cheers :)
Thanks, bro! :)
Love your last videos. Would really like an alternative route for the combos if I can't get a perfect everytime.
Thanks, bro! If you miss the perfect knuckle mid screen, you can combo into mp flash knuckle. In the corner, I usually go into uppercut :)
I still prefer 2LP * 3 ->drive rush cancel->corner carry, even the damage is 700 less than DDT
Advantage of corner carry is huge in this game

Ah, cool. What's the setup?
As for DI against the wall, I use ST.HP x DR x B.HP x DR x B.HP x Charge Upper, jmp M, charge air knuckle, Lvl 3
I like this guide
Thanks for watching

so the back HK after a DDT can whiff on crouching opponents, at least vs Akuma it did, haven't tested if char specific.

@@FlawlessJ535 you're right it hasn't happened again and I noticed it had to be a timing thing
how do you feel about lukes changes a few weeks into s2? people saying hes a lot worse now, idk what to think
I feel like he got some great buffs that help his game, and as the damage nerfs affect other characters, too... he'll be completely fine, IMO
MORE LUKE VID PLZZZZZZZ
Don't worry, I got u 😉
