I'm so glad I found this! I've always purged my cookbooks, but the printed or hand written recipes were out of control. My boys asked for some of my recipes so I made them binders with all their favorites as well as a few I thought they would like. That project made me sort and purge the printed recipes so I made myself a binder. I soon found that one binder isn't enough and I didn't like the way I first sorted them. I was thinking of multiple binders and re-organizing them and now know that is the way to go after seeing your video, so thank you! I also have the problem of returning the recipes back to the binder and have decided to try leaving them in the binder to make the dish and see if that helps. Thanks again for the inspiration!

This is how I keep all my recipes. I have 5 large binders. I could probably get rid of some recipes that I don't make, but I haven't gotten around to that. I was just happy to get them organized. One day I will sit down and start removing the recipes I don't use. Baby steps I suppose.
