As a lift hill enthusiast, I thought this was hands down the greatest video ever. Until you started coasting. Then it was all downhill from that point on.

I honestly don't know why you are so hostile towards your viewers. If some people like watching the lift hills, leave them in and let them watch it. The people who don't like lifthills can easily skip it, either through an annotation or just fastforwarding it themselves. Actually I rather enjoyed the beauty surrounding the lift hill. Guess that makes me an a**hole for enjoying all the lovely greenery. Beats looking at a parking lot off to the side. I guess why most of us watching these prefer you leaving the lift hill segment in is because we want to experience it as you do. Yeah the lift hill can be boring but we still enjoy the experience, it is, after all, a part of the ride. That doesn't make us a**holes Rob. Most of us won't be able to go to the theme parks you do, so the only way we can experience the same thing as you, is through your videos, boring lift hills and all. This channel is like the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 of roller coaster videos. If you've ever seen the show you know it adds a hilarious element to the movies they are watching. He has fun in his videos. If you don't like listening to him then mute the video and make you're own "wind in camera" noises because that's all you're missing out on. It's a shame that someone who seems like a nice guy and produces easily the best coaster related videos on RUclips is so unnecessarily hostile to his viewers. I know I'll probably get the usual reply of 'DON'T WATCH OUR CONTENT, FUCK OFF' or 'WHY ARE YOU TAKING THIS SO SERIOUSLY' etc. but I really do enjoy the videos and unfortunately there aren't other channels even close to the same quality. I'm not talking about the comments in the video either, I'm talking about the comments below and in 90% of the other TPR videos. I get it that these videos are created for fun and views/subscriptions aren't important, but is that really a reason to just be a dick to followers for no reason? It's just so out of character for a channel about coasters and theme parks. I agree with you. One thing I will add, is that I turned off the volume, after I was called an A HOLE for no reason. Then I see I am invited to "like" them and subscribe. I think the videos are important because I REALLY want to find out about the rides. My husband is disabled and we don't get out much. This POV stuff is kind of fun.

I've been on this one before. It is the best alpine coaster I have ever been on. If you want a really good one like this, look up the Dragon's Tail Coaster. It costs some money, because it is on Royal Caribean's private island. However, if you get the chance, it is a must do.
Hope you have been enjoying Pigeon Forge! Wish you were able to ride Lightning Rod, but I can guarantee that it is worth it for a return trip! Also, the lift hills on the Alpine coasters here are part of the great experience of riding them.
You know what, Im actually starting to see why you respond to hate/annoying commenters the way you do. You go out there, record a video, edit said video, publish it for people to see and enjoy yet they still find something wrong about it. People in the coaster universe or at least on the internet are complete asshole perfectionists, where all they want is you to be exactly how they want. I rode this during my trip to Pigeon Forge a few weeks back. It's a true rush considering that the car struggles to stay on the tracks during the tighter turns.
Have you ridden the Alpine Coaster in Glen wood Springs CO? Its pretty Kick Ass. You should try it if you haven't. There is a giant swing there that launches you out over the canyon 1400 feet up.
You should try the alpine coaster at Adventure Park in Duluth, MN. They start you off with the down hill coaster part and have the lift hill at the end. Rode it a couple of weeks ago and was expecting the lift hill and surprisingly got the downhill drop.
I am kind of interested by this lift hill but only because i have never ridden one of the alpine coasters. I enjoy the passive aggressive way of dealing with people who complain about their lift hill footage.
