Are these regulat Stanley or tje FatMax? Im debating between the Stanley FatMax set which is on sale where im at ($35 for set of 3) vs $60 for the set of 3 for the DeWalt. Not a huge price difference but if the performance is identical i wouldnt mind saving $25. If these are the FatMax cutters being tested im going to pay extra for thr DeWalt set.
Yes fatmax just look for the compound action but the quality is better on the dewalt 👍 I find that the stanley take a lots more effort to cut. The only advice I can say is look for a good deal on the dewalt or gear wrench youl thank me.
From what I understand from Stanley’s promotional video on their compound action pliers, they are not designed for hard cutting, they are designed to not wear so hard on your hands if you work in a profession where you use pliers all day long. At least that’s from what I understand, I’ll see if I can find the video and link to it Edit: nevermind, I can’t find the video, looks like they removed it from their RUclips channel
Wire cutters will make a cleaner cut and will be better if you only cut wire. But if you want something universal there diagonal cutters are a good choice.
Very useful I was looking for something to cut my wife's toe nails 👍
🤣😂
Well I just bought a pair of Stanley but I was not looking to pay top dollar. I bought them at Walmart for $9.27. The dewalt look cool.
The will do the job👍
Stanley owns DeWalt and many other companies

I have 1/8 inch wire to cut, the dewalt and gear wrench both seemed pretty good, which one would you recommend more?
Gear wrench for the bigger gap
@@patdud1979 awsome, thanks!
