If the firmware version number on the Spypoint website is exactly the same as the firmware version number for your device (which you can find when you log into the Spypoint app for your device) then nothing needs updating. I hope that helps.
When I plug my cell link into the trail camera and take pictures, it is not sending anything. When I plug the SD cable into my computer I can see the pictures under the DCIM\100MEDIA folder. Any tips?
1. If you've not done it already it's a good idea to test it outside, at home - where you know there's a good phone signal. (adjusting the aerial position if necessary). - When testing it, set the frequency of transferring photos in the app to 'each detection' (and give it 5 minutes to update that setting to your account). 2. Make sure you've installed a micro SD card into the CELL LINK (which you need to buy separately... and re-format). - When everything's working, there should be a 'TRANSMIT' folder in that microSD card... it's only the pictures in here that get transmitted. 3. And finally disconnect and reconnect the cables to the trail camera... just to make sure there's a good connection. That should fix it but if you've any more problems get in touch.
Terrible company behind the scenes. The technology is great when it works. Customer service is terrible. They sold me 2 cameras that didn’t work. Because of their screw up. In bar codes. Then required me to prove I purchased them in order to get replacement. But I bought them 2 year’s previous. Before actually using them. So they told me tough luck. They don’t stand behind their product and don’t care about their customers. Oh and they are a European company with support out of France when I called in 100x. Don’t waste your money. Buy American.
We're the UK distributor and go above-and-beyond to deal with queries and warranty repairs for all UK retail sales from our offices in Stratford-upon-Avon. Sorry you had a less than positive experience on this occasion. I hope that Spypoint (they're a Canadian company by the way) take your feedback on board. Although it is a shame you only discovered the problem after the warranty had expired - you'd need a lot of good will from any company to honour out of warranty claims.
If you've followed every step of our video tutorial is there a specific difficulty you've got? Even though you're not a UK customer, we have a lot of technical experts at Thomas Jacks, so we might be able to help.
The solar dark is the best camera to use with the cell link
So if the firmware is the same as on web site, do you need to copy that information onto the sd card?

Is there a list of trail cameras that the CELL LINK does not work with?
It should work with any Trail Camera that has an SD Card
It's pretty straight forward
