I am from Greece and i am good in Baggamon ,we call it Tavli, but here we play 3 different games so iam wondering why the Japanese has so many world champions
at 30:00 you played 6/4*/3 which, according to gnubg, is the best move..while watching i was thinking on playing 8/5 (gnubg second best move) because of lack of better things to do: i slot a valuable point instead of leaving blots on 1 and 3 and overall it seems to me a better balancing of checkers and i don't think it's a matter of leaving less shots; the only reason i could find to justify 6/4*/3 as a better move was that you compel your opponent to use half of the shot to enter from the bar..but did not convince me fully..anyway great champions at display..keep it up!
I believe 6/4*/3 is right not only because it puts a checker on the bar (gaining a tempo giving the dreaded 66 to fan) and leaves two fewer ways to hit (3s and 1s, plus 44 55), but also because it leaves only 33 and 11 to point on Mochy's back checker--versus 33 11 31 44 (three more pointing numbers). Mochy's best game plan is to escape, and his best chance for that is if MCG misses right now. Finally, the hit gains four pips, also helping a racing plan.
I can see they have never been in a life and death situation where you have to react and not think. Those that hesitate, die!!! A Co. 3rd. Bat, 503rd. Inf. 173rd. Airborne Brigade. "It don't mean nothin!"
and they take to long! this ain't chess, 40% skill and 60% luck! (or something like that) Hey, you don't have any control over how the dice fall, but you can know the odds, and that is a gamble too!
MOCHY I WANT ASK SOMETHING PLEAS ENSWER ME YOU PLAY SO LONG BACKGAMMON EN I LIKE IT YOU ARE GOOD PLAYER MY QUESION IS IM GOING BUY BACKGAMMON SET COMINGSOON WHAT IS YOUR FAVORIT BACKGAMMON SET PLEAS TOP 4 PLEAS
Hi Mochy, please stop saying 'paired up' it is not a very correct way of describing opponents, it is used when you 'pair up' with somebody in some kind of team or partnership. 'opposed' implies non-parity.
most of these people I've seen play don't really understand the game, and they should not be allowed to move the chips around once they have touched them. That should be rule number 1! That ain't cool!!!
Thank you for posting these videos Mochy. We learn and are entertaint
Thank you !

Thank you for the comment. 62 22 44 would be hit number with 8/5.

Hi Mochi, at U Tube: Backgammon Reloaded I and II,
That one with 3 playsides
Anyone a plan about the cube action to 4 at 3:0 ? I play about 7 on xg and that's very basic no double I think.
Can you start blurring out the score in the thumbnail? I don't like accidentally seeing who's winning in part three while I'm watching part one.
ok. i try to find the way.
Thank you for your advice.

Good game but many times you guys think too much for the obvious moves...
