Can relate, unfortunately. I don't have friends that share my interests in this sort of stuff to discuss it and to express and share emotions, which is probably the main reason i watch reactions. And your reactions to Vox Machina are probably my favorite, even though i've watched A LOT of different people reacting to the show. You're very perceptive, and a level of knowledge you had about the characters before approaching the animated series allowed you to share many little insights and point out small details i never even thought about before. it does actually mean a lot. i think online, people will be very genuine because we have such fleeting interactions. some aren't afraid to be mean because they know there's no real consequence. we feel free to be our true selves. in real life, people will use flattery because it can get them ahead in a career or in a relationship even if they don't mean it. but you get nothing out of saying something nice to me here, yet you took the time to comment and say it anyway. so you might be faceless and on the internet, but what you say does mean a lot to me. if i have the time, watching the campaign is on my list!

@@kyratries Arcane and RWBY definitely are two. Arcane has season two coming in November, starts a bit slow but by episode 3 I was hooked RWBY currently has 9 volumes but they go quick and the animation gets better with each volume. I would suggest the Red, White, Black, and Yellow trailers first, they can all be one video as they're short, just like the volume 1 episodes

I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that the Internet was born because people want to talk with each other about the things they love. A network built for researchers and academics to send work email went FOOM and transformed the world as soon as they realized they could also use it to talk about Star Trek and books and and and and. It's harder to see that now that everything's been crushed, commercialized and consolidated. But now that I think about it, with a reaction channel you're essentially creating a space to have those conversations, as well as putting yourself out there to spark them. And you've made it a good space - I'm not surprised you have thousands of subscribers now :)

I remember the Hazbin Hotel season finale, you theorized Dazzle was a necessary sacrifice to summon Lucifer. For months I thought that was reading too much into it and OBviously Lucy showed up because Adam trying to kill his Hellborn daughter voided their deal. ...Except look at all the angels trying to kill Charlie before Adam, so yeah, you were right.

it does actually mean a lot. i think online, people will be very genuine because we have such fleeting interactions. some aren't afraid to be mean because they know there's no real consequence. we feel free to be our true selves. in real life, people will use flattery because it can get them ahead in a career or in a relationship even if they don't mean it. but you get nothing out of saying something nice to me here, yet you took the time to comment and say it anyway. so you might be faceless and on the internet, but what you say does mean a lot to me.

Perhaps a discord server for your community could eventually be a consideration?. If you are looking for other recommendations for shows, I think Arcane and maybe Blue Eye Samurai would be good watches if you haven’t seen them already. Arcane has season two coming in November, starts a bit slow but by episode 3 I was hooked
RWBY currently has 9 volumes but they go quick and the animation gets better with each volume. I would suggest the Red, White, Black, and Yellow trailers first, they can all be one video as they're short, just like the volume 1 episodes

I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that the Internet was born because people want to talk with each other about the things they love. A network built for researchers and academics to send work email went FOOM and transformed the world as soon as they realized they could also use it to talk about Star Trek and books and and and and.
It's harder to see that now that everything's been crushed, commercialized and consolidated. But now that I think about it, with a reaction channel you're essentially creating a space to have those conversations, as well as putting yourself out there to spark them. And you've made it a good space - I'm not surprised you have thousands of subscribers now :)

I remember the Hazbin Hotel season finale, you theorized Dazzle was a necessary sacrifice to summon Lucifer. For months I thought that was reading too much into it and OBviously Lucy showed up because Adam trying to kill his Hellborn daughter voided their deal.

I feel like ive watched just about every reaction to Legend of Vox Machina out there and you definitely bring a totally unique flavor to it. Longer format and just taking your time to explore what the show makes you feel and the characters is such great perspective to listen to. Looking forward to season 3! also you should give Scanlans songs from the campaing a listen. I'm not usually a big poster on most channels, but I'll say this: out of all the things you could have chosen to react, to Vox Machina/Critical Role was probably your best choice. Why? Because so many Critters like ourselves come from our own little introverted spaces in the world. So I suspect more than a few of us know where you're coming from and appreciate your point of view. Please know that even if you may not be physically surrounded by people, you are not alone in the world. We see you, and we appreciate your shared passion for the things that we also care about.
