Both are about a guy either being accused of or actually committing murder, they try to get out of it, only to make it worse for themselves, before desperately trying to get out of the situation they put themselves into by dropping a banger.
FINALLY, FINALLY SOMEONE WHO DID THIS PERFECT, SOME PEOPLE CUT THE DISTORTED AUDIO WHEN THE "WHEN IT GROWS BRIGHT" PART START TO GO BACK TO THE UNDISTORTED VERSION AND THE TRANSITION IS TERRIBLE, I LOVE YOU, DUDE.
I mean in the original if you listen real hard to the second part of mind electric you can hear labyrinth. Or maybe i just really want to hear it because i love labyrinth
@@dolorsitametconsectur thats what im sayin!! I know theres an extra bangin lyric demo aswell but the fact that you can hear Labyrinth's piano track in the regular mind electric is just.. so cool!
i feel like the distorted one adds .. personality? the story isnt him going in an electric chair, he has schizophrenia and them fixing his schizophrenia with an electric thing that sends shorts seizures that hard restarts your brain. sometimes people die from it. he did. he got sent to hell which is labyrinth (this is the only part of hawaii part ii i actually understand, but everyone has the wrong theory)
@@pepperclap the part with the serfs working really sounds better when it's distorted. The beat drop is harder and it just has more groovability and underlying doom
@@pepperclap Yeah, if you look at the rest of the album, it's obvious that he did not die and he did not have schizophrenia. He got framed for murder and tried to get a shorter sentence.
OH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A VIDEO LIKE THIS FOR GOD KNOWS HOW MANY MONTHS THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH Also, it would be a banger if you make a slowed reverb version of this, you don't have to though. Great work!
No problem! I'm not a huge fan of slowed with reverb edits because I kinda feel like they ruin the original intent of the song but you can make one if you want! ^w^
I always wanted the synths and the re-amplification effects from the Distorted Bridge (aka. See how the serfs) in the undistorted one (or reverse one, the undistorted bridge drums in the distorted bridge)
In the actual song there are two versions of the song, the “tame” version which usually plays backwards, and the “distorted” version, the piano is quieter in the tame version of the song
In the distorted version near the end of the song in the "Serfs roam the grounds" part you can hear the Labyrinth motif but in the undistorted version you can't, so I added it back!
Thats probably because labyrinth's instrumental is already in the backing track of the mind electric, now it's just a little louder. If you listen closely you can probably hear the rapid pace of labyrinth which already compliments the mind electric really nicely. Its just a little louder now 😅 its easier to hear near "doctor i cant tell if im not me"
In this video the song is the undistorted version up until the end, the differences in the ending bit that I’ve noticed is that the distorted version has the metal clicking sound as well as having more electronic sounds including the melody of labyrinth playing in chiptune, also i noticed that the piano is much more intense, there’s probably more but that’s some of the bigger ones
Nope, this is the Hawaii: Part II version of The Mind Electric! I just took the undistorted version (the reversed half unreversed) and added the distorted version's ending (which has the Labyrinth instrumental in the background.) Mind you, I made this before I had very much experience with mashing up music so I recommend listening to the more recent one
I hope to the forty people still subscribed that you're enjoying these once-a-month random uploads.
I don't mind.

@@enbyfreddy Oh my god, thank you so much!
@@enbyfreddy HAHA NOW 80!
Welp it’s 100 now 🤷♂️
Good call. The extra instrumentation in that part makes the distorted version much better so I'm glad to see what the undistorted sounds like with it.
Awh thank you! To be honest I didn't even notice it at first until my sibling pointed it out, so thanks to them for enlightening me X3
It's the demo in the actual song just un reverse the first part of the song
The Mind Electric is honestly the most favorited songs amongst a similar song, Bohemian Rhapsody, as they both tell nearly the same story in theme
what aout bahamian rap city?
they both dont use a chorus-verse structure too which is cool

@@grayanddevpdx Bohemian Rhapsody isn’t actually about anything, Freddie Mercury said it in an interview, although i love your interpretation

Mind electric is my favorite off the hawaii pt. 2 album this is awesome!
Thank you! I love The Mind Electric too, Hawaii: Part II is a masterpiece ^w^

Nah, they’re connected. Labyrinth was originally part of TME.

2:04 yeah there's someone in the background whistling the intro to labyrinth which is also in the intro
Ive been listening to different versions of The Mind Electric nonstop and this is probably my favorite one
Holy heck this is my favorite version
I'm glad! :3
Thank you for this! How did you make this? It’s nice to finally hear “insane” at the beginning without it being distorted.
I got the undistorted version from the official lyric video by Miracle Musical!

now this is the true undistorted version! thanks for makin this
Ah, another man of culture! I also loved that synth at the end, and since the Spotify version didn't have it, I made my own mix just like this one
I have been looking for this very specific combination of Mind Electrics for several minutes, thank you!!!
oh wow this is like. actually really good

The mind electric is definitely my favorite track in the album and this is amazing
this is it, this is my favourite version of this song
WHOA GUYS, IF YOU PUT THIS AS x2 SPEED IT PLAYS TWICE AS FAST!
HOW CRAZY.
i love the labryinth instrumental!!!! i was sad that its not there in the regular undistorted version lolll
Now distort it with the labyrinth instrumental
This is the best comment yet

The Mind Labyrinth
i dont know why in any versions besides the original make the piano way more silent
I haven't altered anything about the original songs specifically to keep it authentic so that shouldn't be an issue here! :3

Yes!!!!! Someone did it!!!! You’re amazing‼️‼️‼️ 💖
splendid
Yummy.. yep saved to my playlist.
Hawaii part || is an overall calm album, which makes murderers and The Mind Electric so out of place.
it's just slightly off but in a good way
I’m having a hard time hearing the difference for some reason? Maybe it’s my hearing disorder- I’m unsure.

isn't this undistorted with the distorted bridge?
