ICVT 2019 Lecture: Comparison of Male and Female Register Transitions, Ken Bozeman

This lecture explains acoustic registration and compares non-treble (male-sex) register issues with treble (female-sex & countertenor) register issues. The terms "male" and "female" in this lecture were not intended to refer to gender identity, rather to bodies that developed within either testosterone or estrogen dominant systems. I make the case for acoustic registers as well as laryngeal registers.
