Good luck. I had that NYOS Skimmer. After two spin wheels disconnecting from the spindle and NYOS being MISERABLE for a replacement of ANY part taking as much a six months. Not worth the lack of customer support.
This is a serious skimmer but a lot more cash than the 600. When I bought the model below that 220(160). The thing was broken in a few places and had to re-glue with proper weld-on acrylic glue. Also the routing was all chipped on the cup lid because of a dull router bit. But they are efficient skimmers.
blue life Flux RX will clear all algae in a week bud, such a simple fix. then just keep no3 between 1-4ppm and po4 between 0.02-0.1. and shouldnt come back

Hi there, been running solid ever since the post. So far so good!
You replaced an injection molded body with neck sight glass, gear driven level adjustment and sicce pump for that?
Guilty! But I like it. :)

My washer broke too. Just contact ecotech marine. They’ll send it right out to you.
Thank you David!
