Hi Kate, I want to make my own Christmas wrapping paper this year and wondered which paper you think would be good for this. Will poster paper stand the test of endless pulls? Thank you. 😀
Right. Please tell people to use either a barrier cream or gloves. Acrylics are NOT made for fingerpainting as they are toxic (the pigments are and they do containt formaldehyde). They are only non toxic when used with a brush, pallette knife etc. If you want to finger paint, use an art guard or gloves. Instructors should be aware of and talk about safety. It's amazing how many people do not know their products. Ok, of soapbox now... I do very much enjoy this channel and these videos, and thank you for that. I just want people to be a bit more aware.
Anyone using artist grade paints should wear gloves when finger painting to avoid absorbing toxic elements. I've had a few artist friends get cancer from such paints.
I didn't even watch it and I gave it a thumbs-up, your ideas and thoughts are always brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing

Love this way of using the gel plate, but I'm just wondering why you didn't use the stencils directly onto the pages?
Is there a reason why you painted the stencil on the gelli plate rather than stencilled straight on the paper directly?
❤️❤️❤️
My inner child is screaming to be released 👍🌻💕🥰
I guess if you want a tactile experience, this is what you do.

Hm, couldn't I just rub the paints with my fingers on the paper and dry them in between? Don't think I'd need the Gelli for this. For the rest, yes.
