He isn’t fully deaf, but he is mostly deaf. He can still lip read as we picked up on when soft voices talk to him as hard of hearing people wouldn’t hear.
He just ruptured his eardrums, meaning it can be healed overtime, however sounds are more muffled to him.

Ahhh this was so cool!! The designs are so cute, and the reactions are some of the more canonically accurate I’ve seen so far, especially when showing Tomioka’s thoughts on Sabito’s death. A lot of people put a more modern reaction, e.g. sympathy and a ton sadness, whereas as the response you gave felt more real to how they would actually respond to his thoughts which I think is a very good attention to detail. Anyway, amazing video please keep it up,! ☆
I always think abt giyu clutching sabito or tsutakos sides of the haori when they're brought up and love how you put that into the video, the reactions are awesome and how tengen is holding giyus hand and hugging him is so cute:)) they have a nice friendship
