Thank you for another great video. Your content is always interesting. This is really wonderful news channel! Have a great one. Paul got a taste of what a trucker goes threw on a normal basis! Hes lucky they didnt force to see the inside of his "home." When a trucker get stopped for a light out, they will go threw the cab...which is a truckers home! I had never heard of the Elvis guy and before I decided to voice an opinion I thought I'd watch a video or two of his. He has almost 4,000 videos so there's a lot to choose from. Unfortunately, not many of them have any substance and he seems to like to live stream a lot which I assume is a ploy for money. Just yesterday he was live streaming about starting a GoFundMe for repairs to his van. Frankly, he looks like the type of person that were I to be approached by him and he tried to engage me in a conversation, in the back of my mind I would immediately be trying to formulate an exit strategy.
As for LineScrew, I think he's just a bully. All that crap he started with that lady that was traveling and posting about her trip to Alaska last summer was just ridiculous. The only good thing about him is that he doesn't beg for money. Too many people feel as if YT is a platform for asking others to pay their freight bill. Last month I saw some video from a guy that was down on his luck and living in an RV traveling from rest stop to rest stop and posting videos about how broke he was and asking people for money. What kind of content is that? He's not a YT videographer...he's a bum.
People like Camo Dave disgust me as well. The guy sits in his basement and critiques Van Lifers and nomads and stirs the pot by creating drama that often doesn't exist. This increases his views and he make a meager bit of money from YT just for being a creep.
People like you, Paul, Eric Nomadic Fanatic, Trent & Allie, Nomadic Movement, Living Free Mike, Camper Van Brian and Slim Potatohead are the folks I enjoy watching. You and them take people places and take time to edit videos for quality. As I have said before on other videos you have made, you and these other folks put some thought into your videos and it shows. I have also said that I travel full-time as well. If it weren't for some of these videos I wouldn't have known about some of these free and little used sites and I wouldn't have been able to enjoy them too.
Anyway Rav, keep up the good work. Sorry about the rant.

I am sure Rav will reply to you soon but I would just like to say to you I totally agree with your post here...go ahead and rant... sad but true there are some sad folks out there..hope they do not pull in next to my campsite but somehow I think 90% of them are living vicariously, they may not even have a van, a step van, a skoolie (like me) or any Nomad Vehicle of any kind and in my mind and forgive me for ranting but in my mind they are sitting in the basement of their moms house in their stained underwear and trying to make themselves feel better by putting you, me and all the good Nomads out here down. Fair Winds and Smiles Brian.
Oh and another thing! (as Mom would say) there was a episode a few days ago from Rav about Trolls and Fake accounts drivingt up the drama to enhance their views perhaps... I think he found something very important there that may ultimately help us honest yt folks. I am by no means a computer/programmer/hacker etc but it seems to me the url of a hacker/a troll with 40 accounts etc... doesn't that all come from the :same : ip address... just asking...
@@CaptainJackScrapper Unfortunately no. There are programs out there that will change an IP address and these are quite common for hackers to use to make it more difficult for law enforcement to track them. These are usually used by people sharing child pornography or scamming money from grandmas and grandpas that are easy targets. I don't think most YT trolls go to that kind of lengths because they're just plain stupid. Honestly though, who the hell has the time to create multiple accounts just to make numerous nefarious comments on another's YT video? When I'm not traveling from one place to another, I write for a website dedicated to RVers and the RV life. (I would post it here, but since I don't have Rav's permission to do that I'll let him share it if he wants to.) That said, I don't have that kind of time and none of my friends do either.
wow somehow i never heard of Trent and Allie when they have 139,000 or slim potatohead with 70,000 subs how in the world did I miss them? I will check them out since I am on the same page as you on the others mentioned
@@Tatiacha Slim Potatohead has a lot of good "how to" videos as well as documenting his travels. Trent and Allie are currently traveling Central America with Nomadic Movement and their videos are interesting and of good quality. In fact, when they (Nomadic Movement) were in El Salvador last month the president of El Salvador tweeted a link to one of their videos and thanked them for sharing with the world what a wonderful place his country is. When he found out that their Mac Pro had died and they were having a hard time replacing/repairing it in El Salvador, he (the president of El Salvador) bought them a brand new MacPro with all of the video programs they needed and had it shipped to them. My kind of President.
I’ve yet to understand why people glorify being homeless living in a vehicle like it’s a major accomplishment or goal people should have in life. Living in an RV and moving place to place seeing the country was called retirement after you spent your life working and saving. Now it’s nothing more than a mission to be lazy and get sympathy money from people.
Also, it’s filled with people who failed in life and can’t seem to make it in society because they made wrong decisions along the way to carve their mark into a profession and be successful. They would rather have other people give them their money earned from doing it the right way.
I’ve never asked anyone for anything. I’ve never had one person donate anything to me or my channel. There’s lots of different Nomads from all ends of the spectrum you can’t just lump us all together.
NOMAD NEWS never did I pool everyone into the equation I said “filled with people” not “everyone in the community” I’ve got no issue with the nomads on RUclips who earn Adsense because that is what RUclips originally started as. If you were popular and offered meaningful content and material then your sub base grew as well as your Adsense pay. But companies like Patreon and then the all mighty PayPal got into it and then every hard up lazy individual with a smartphone and an internet connection caught on to the trend and started the ebegging movement. But I’ll emphasize that not all nomads are in that category.

Rav. I totally enjoyed this...especially the interview with Paul and for what it's worth I think you should do more interviews with Nomads. You could be the next Sean Hannity lol or even better the next George Noory (sp) "Somewhere out there...." My next thought, are you planning on making a mini studio in your step van? I think that would be so cool. I saw a tour of someones "skoolie" can't remember the name was probably on Chris's or maybe Steampunk Steves channel but this guy is a composer and the back end of his rig is an amazing music composers dream, mixers, keyboards, even a drum set. Oddly I realized my "office" space for my build has to be the first thing done on the interior as it is the largest item to install and ultimately the most important for creativity. Oh btw my patient is geeked about getting one of the tee shirts. I told her she can't wear it while she eats and drinks w/o a bib. LOL Fair Winds and Smiles.

I see people on social media doing custom built camper bodies and forgoing clearance lights. This is a huge mistake. Working clearance lights are required. You would be wise to understand these different laws that apply to commercial vehicles now that you promote their use to individuals. Being anti police is your choice. Thats fine but dont promote stepvans and other commercial vehicles while making inaccurate statements about the laws that apply to them.
Please point out to me what I stated that was inaccurate? I said I did some research and police can pull you over for a burnt marker light. So, I’m jst a little confused about what you’re referring to.
And exactly how am I anti-police? You think not allowing police to break the law and violate ones rights is being anti-police?
