The guard were really strong on the right and center lane. The tenso was making great gains on the contested but was really failed by the other two nids, who kept suiciding their nids against dug in guard. There was no effort in disruption, you can't rush guard who are kiting you. You can't out shoot them either. Going up the center several times was like watching a fool bang their head against a wall, eventually your head starts to hurt watching it. Good game guard, nids need to step back and ask "what would the hive mind do?"
Getting semi pinchered by 2 Baneblades with high lvl infantry who have artillery support is something you never want to ever be in lol

Tenso offensive with Tyrranid is terrifying but Red team keep their cool despite some serious losses and turn things around in the end. Really fun game, very much enjoy that one.
I love that the IG had a Lord of the Rings lore club going on for a second and that Hex thought he was playing Last Stand at the end lmao
Was a great match to watch, though! Appreciate it from all involved, especially Tenso who kept at it. Wouldn't have been as fun to watch if the Tyranids had just caved c:
Despite the sheer amount of armor and firepower the Tyranid players fought till the end. Thanks for offering us such a great match to witness

This gets my Inquisitorial seal of approval. I am as surprised as Hex - no SL and nids believing in their previous tier game without a change up in tactics was just foolish. Makes IG look good 😆

Shafex really dropped the ball several times at the start. Lost the Sentinel and a squad of Guradsmen, immediately followed by the Banewolf. Lucky for him it wasnt a 1v1 game.
Is there any channels that do the othe rmods for dawn of war 2, regardless can you do videos on the other mods? or would that involve installing and uninstalling a bunch of mods just to watch the replays?

Tyranids need Heirophants and other bio titans to fight the guard, their AV is unable to trade meanwhile one chaos lasgun usually wrecks vehicles due to range and high DP , also top it with snare.

10:02 when guardsmen outrange elder snipers you know there is an issue with the stats ;P
11:23 those laser longrange high rof guardsmen sets the entire elder race ashame.
i feel guardsmen faction is generally way overtuned on everything (to fight up with factions that are VASTLY superior); it just doesn't sit right.
like dow1 uni or apo mods better with this where there area numeric positive but 1 to 1 guardsmen are just way worse; then they get their super tanks which doesn't make any sense either; where are the titans i wonder then, if you are throwing your heaviest most tech tanks into the fight, other factions would do the same and those are titans :P

Yeah they definitely seem a little bit overtuned at the moment, especially against Nids who seem to be at the complete opposite end of the spectrum lately against vehicle heavy teams.

I really cant stand how tanky the commissar is, so immersion breaking seeing IG characters just go balls deep and getting out no problem. I understand the invun shield thing but even before and after. Remember seeing lvl1 commissar vs lv1 chaos lord with commissar coming out on top. Drives me crazy!
19:51 yes its plasma, and it does like 1/3 off the big tank norm plasma hit, a bit less than a plasma cannon marine team, 20-30% to a tank with a good hit on it.
but as said i find guardsmen completely overtuned in dow2, all their stuff is so damn strong and they aint suppose to be ^^

@@Tenso761 Well, Tenso sends in * GOOD * games. Sometimes he wins, (most of the time iirc), sometimes he doesn't. However, his (or her) games are interesting and fun to watch. Unlike some other folks.

A forgone conclusion from the start. IG is far too strong for Nids.
the faction known for the strongest vehicles vs the faction lacking a vehicle snare and the worst av unit in the entire game (zoanjoke)
Tyranids need a major late game buff cause if any race can get through tier 2 ok they just win cause tyranids have nothing that can hurt other race's teir 3 it's far to one sided its pathetic. It's sad how much game's workshop seems to hate tyranids cause it's not just DoW that there horrible balanced for but all there games.
Guess you never saw the Carnifex train? But I'll give you that it's pretty much nothing but Carnifexes in late game which is a bit boring.
