Glad you liked the Girl Trouble album! Yes they are definitely one of my favorite bands. Dead ends look cool I’ll have to give them a listen. Your shirt is awesome
That was some great VCLT for sure. "I just think of it as rock and roll, coz that's what it is." Thank you for reminding me of the wisdom of Eugene. Rock on Vinyl Richie!
Great vid Rich! Funny story: I bought that Exploited - The Massacre on cassette back when it came out. My high school art teacher would allow us to play our tapes in class sometimes and I put it on and BLASTED IT! She was able to get thru two songs until “Porno Slut” came on and she promptly b-lined to the boom box and yanked the cassette out! Me and my homies were cracking up!! I still love that album! It’s kinda thrashy.
Hey Rich. I love The Cramps, so I'll check out Girl Trouble. Oh man! Exploited! Haven't seen any of their stuff in years! Cool Arrested Development as well. Thanks. Get well soon.
Hey Richie, love Wall of Voodoo. I've gotta check out that album. I'll also be checking out Vinyl Piper. Just subscribed to your channel. Look forward to more of your content. Cheers. Darryl
Hi Pat, I have that Arrested Development LP you mentioned somewhere - I got it for £1 in a charity shop but it's not in great condition sadly. That Gandalf LP RSD is the only one I was interested in on RSD apart from the Bunnymen's Elextrafixion Burned. It is very hard to find in the UK (expensive) but 3 years from now it will probaly be cheap like all RSD records. But then do I need it? Not really. You metioned that Rap Lp being Industrial? The only true Industrial/Experimental band is Throbbing Gristle and they will do for me. Blockhead has good taste so I have will check out that Girl Trouble band.
Not only was the Wall of Voodoo my #1 want it is the best RSD release I have gotten in forever. I’ll wait a year for the price of a RSD release to come down. Often after a year I don’t even feel the need to get it. A recent example is the Lou Reed RCA demos. It is a very good release and the price has come down but I haven’t picked it up. Most likely the same thing will happen with the recent Ramones 1975 demos.
Sounds like I might dig that Dead Ends band. That first Death Grips album is definitely the best/loudest/noisiest I've heard by them. Great video, pal. Hope you get over that cough soon.
Richie, a hearse with a dead body inside, lost it's brakes and rolled down a hill. It crashed through some houses and a drug store. As it drove through the aisle, a pharmacist running along the side of it asked. '' Can I help you?". The dead guy's head popped up and he said, ''Yes, do you have anything to stop this coffin?'' I love that photo of Rick on the ''Heaven Was Blue'' album, it reminds me of the awesome Turkish psyche guys that put out some killer stuff in the late 1960's and 1970's. Arrested Development and Digable Planets were two favorites of mine, they told ''real- life'' stories just like Sly Stone and Stevie Wonder. If your favorite color is green, why is your baby face yellow?
@@vinylrichie007 you should look for their other records. All great. They toured down the west coast a few times in the early 90’s so they could be out there in your area.
I remember buying that rick Saucedo album about ten years ago when Hog's Ear report showed it, he found an OG copy, but he said it was beat. Who in their right mind would tell anyone they make bootleg records????? That's jail time. Give me a hint who it is? Nice finds. Thanks for the shout out, lol.
Hey Rich! Man you scored some killer records! Super cool VCLT! I actually picked up that Gandalf album a couple years ago at my local RS and I’m going to go out on a limb and say it was likely an unofficial release It’s on black vinyl No RSD hype or anything but to me sounds just as good as any other release I love that record and I like to play it when Im getting “mellow” LoL! I’ve seen that Heaven Was Blue LP at a few record shows but never picked it up May have to revisit that reissue. That rap albums look pretty cool Believe it or not I love classic Hip Hop even thru the 90’s. But the newer stuff I have little interest in. In fact I’ve been playing a little PM Dawn and some Tribe Called Quest Also listened to some Aesop who is a white rapper His stuff is so cool and he’s been around for quite awhile If you haven’t checked out Aesop I highly recommend his albums. Laid back beats and thought provoking lyrics and his delivery is def unique Better than Eminem in my book. Super cool shares and I’ll sub to the channels you mentioned. Of course I’m already subbed to George at Blockhead whose channel I really dig! Peace ✨✌️👽✨
Ex Military by Death Grips is abrasive. The people I know that like Rap do not like it. I really liked the first Slim Shady record(Eminem). Heaven Was Blue is on the mellow side of things.
I find the vocals on the Crucifucks a bit annoying. I have another batch of records ti trade in. If the Crucifucks is still there I may consider it. I was thinking of doing a video of records I’m purging and what records are staying. I don’t want to upset people when they see me getting rid of Who’s Next.
Guerssen is a great label, all of their albums in my collection sound great. It's funny, your description of the Heaven Was Blue album is how I feel about most of their releases. Overall they are really good albums with some great tracks, but there are always a couple of stinkers in there. Check Rockadrome, they usually get copies of all of the Guerssen albums...so does Dylan at Noble Records.
Bobby, out of all the VC people I think you and I have the most in common. Would you wear a shirt of yourself on it? Eugene was on the beginning of the film Decline Of Western Civilization Go on RUclips and type in Eugene Decline Of Western Civilization. In fact you should watch the whole movie..

Hey man. I'm going to have to check out Heaven Was Blue, never heard of it. Guerrsen releases some great albums. Gandalf is essential psych. I choose David Gilmour over Roger Waters all day. Take care. Peace ✌ ☮ 🕊
I’m in the David Gilmore camp. There is a video of David Gilmore watching a street musician. I think in Rome. He invited him to open for Pink Floyd that night. How cool is that.
Vinyl Piper is a cool dude. I wouldn’t block you. I don’t know all the details but I was surprised you removed your interview with Pumping Vinyl. To say the dude obsesses over things is an under statement. However I thought your conversation with him was interesting.
Eh up rich, nuclear blast records have just reissued the last 2 exploited LP beat the bas..... And f.. the system both are great albums, and sound so much better on vinyl
Eugene has his own t-shirt?...lol
Going Underground Records made the Eugene shirt.
Cool that you found Rick Saucedo, really great album. Thanks for the shout out!
Heaven Was Blue is a gem. I’m so glad you showed it.
Glad you liked the Girl Trouble album! Yes they are definitely one of my favorite bands. Dead ends look cool I’ll have to give them a listen. Your shirt is awesome
The Dead Ends is good. Going Underground Records had the shirt printed.

Great VCLT and great wisdom from Eugene.
Thanks for the shout out!! I love these vinyl finds of yours. I used to live near Tacoma where Girl Trouble was from.
You are so welcome!
We love you Vinyl Ritchie!
I love you too.
Hey Richie, like the sound of Heaven Was Blue… great album cover too. Gandalf is superb 👌
Two albums that touch my sweet spot.
Liked the records. Love that t-shirt!
Going Underground made this shirt to promote their video store.

Porno Slut in high school art class is very funny.
I recently picked up that Girl Talk album. You had a ton of stuff I have never seen, always an education. Vinyl Piper, I will check that out Richie
Vinyl Piper is a good dude.
Hey Rich. I love The Cramps, so I'll check out Girl Trouble. Oh man! Exploited! Haven't seen any of their stuff in years! Cool Arrested Development as well. Thanks. Get well soon.
I think you will like Girl Trouble.
Great stuff, many of which I haven't seen before! Absolutely intrigued by Death Grip.
Ex Military by Death Grips is different. It is very abrasive. It is Rap but everyone that I know that likes Rap don’t like it.
Lots of cool stuff. I am intrigued by Heaven Was Blue.
I really like it.

That Heaven Was Blue is an old grail! I've never seen a copy anywhere
It is new to me. I’ve been playing it a lot.
Sounds like I might dig that Dead Ends band. That first Death Grips album is definitely the best/loudest/noisiest I've heard by them. Great video, pal. Hope you get over that cough soon.
The cough is slowly getting better. Dead Ends are good.

That is a great coffin(coughing) joke. Arrested Development were a unique band. They had a different sound and feel to their music.
Nice stuff Rich 👍

Same here.
I’d love a bootleg of Exmilitary. I don’t think they’ll ever officially reissue that album due to all the copyrighted samples

I was surprised at how many mainstream vc channels bought the Gandalf. However the Gandalf is pretty mainstream sounding.
Everyone who already has the original always says you gotta get the original. I'd own about 20 records if I went down that expensive path.
I’m grateful for all the reissues available.
Not familiar with most of those bands. Looking forward to a video featuring your 70's disco albums 🙂
