- Based on a trip to the southern Amazon region in Brazil in 2018, this is the second of three videos and covers a few days spent at the Rio Azul Jungle Lodge north of Alta Floresta, as well as a couple of other sites visited before reaching the lodge. The trip was arranged and guided by the excellent Brad Davis.
Some of the species included are Crimson Topaz (main image), Point-tailed Palmcreeper, Red-fan Parrot, Short-tailed Pygmy-tyrant, King Vulture, Red-and-green Macaw, Eastern Striolated and Collared Puffbirds, Green-and-gold Tanager, Blue-necked Jacamar, Grey Tinamou, Sungrebe, White-bellied (Yellow-tailed) Parrot, Ringed Antpipit, Dwarf Tyrant-manakin, Rusty-breasted Nunlet and Aplomado Falcon. Love these documentaries but would like to mention that there are other countries in that part of South America that are just as interesting. Instead of 100 documentaries of Brazil maybe 80 and 20 about the rest of that part of S-A
