for a non programmer like me, that looks really really complicated. I just need to copy a portable version of comfyUI, I thought there was a way to just drag and drop the confyUI folder to some instance to have it running.
We have since updated our template system to make it a little easier. You can just click on the comfyUI template, rent a machine and then open comfyUI after a few minutes of loading. cloud.vast.ai/templates/
Can i use my regular software on my computer (comfyUI) or do i have to use some sort of instance from you ? I'm trying to figure out how this all works.
can you give me a colab like file for running roop in vast ai... I'm thinkin of migrating from google colab. it just keeps blocking my works. well it was fine and all at the beginning. but I've not be able to do any work for almost a month now since automatic 1111 is blocked, and roop is very limited. eventhough I paid for pro already
This is far from how professionals do it. The UI is very confusing. Can you just simply let us know how to ssh via vscode? Lambda lab has a very smooth user experience on that, despite their instances are much more expensive.
How about a setup video for gpu hosts?
yes please
+1
So what about the earnings? i saw that you hover over that option and did not click on it

@@vast_ai will this way work with roop template that I usually run in colab?
can i rent it to play triple A Games?
Nice video!
It would be good to have a docker image with both torch and tensorflow.
Thank you! We will add that onto our todo, seems like that would be a good template to have available.
Is there a more user friendly simple approach to renting a gpu for mining?
You will want to find a template setup for the type of mining you want to do. Then it will load the correct settings and startup easily.

Pl make a video on running Whisper ASR Webservice on Vast ai. Thanks
Great note, thank you! We will add it to the list.
is it possible to using stable diffusion a1111 web ui with custom lora, extension etc... ?
Yes! We have 2 templates that will launch stable diffusion - cloud.vast.ai/templates/
thanks @@vast_ai
Is it usable for coin mining?
Yes. You can use Vast machines for blockchain hash power.
Can I run this in windows?
Yes, if your local machine is Windows you can still rent a GPU from Vast for Stable Diffusion, Llama2 and other AI use cases!
that's not for me yet. to complicated. thx
you need to fix your UI, it makes me sick to navigate and I moved to hugging face instead
What was challenging? We also have a command line interface if you want to spin up an instance in two commands.
This is far from how professionals do it. The UI is very confusing.

For SSH, you add your public key to the account and it is added to any instance you create. That will work for vscode. vast.ai/docs/instance-setup/ssh

Folks, it's all a bit complicated... can you make it more user- friendly?)
We are working to simplify onboarding and to get running fast. Any particular areas where you got hungup?
