Watched my son surf Lovers Point in PG on 1/28, it’s a left and for goofy footers, ideal, I’ve never seen Lovers Point this big. I used to live on Rincon Point and had great surfing days there and this winter of 2024-2025 is epic.

This swell was not what we all expected but still fun I feel like Monday was the best day not the biggest but was so clean I scored Malibu Ventura was too stormy for my ability haha I feel like I pussed out but owell still got some double over head sets near dume 😉 stoked to see you compete next year yewwwwww!

I grew up in the 60s surf scene and something about needing so many boards just kinda rubs me the wrong way. I had one board at a time and loved it like an old cowboy loved his horse. Times change people change I guess.
Southern California coastline. Up in northern California, we get huge surf all winter. While you had 8 ft waves, we had 20 to 30 ft waves. You should clarify that in Southern California, this is rare because you guys are always surfing tiny waves. Big swell in Northern California in the winter.....every winter! That said, the last month has been historic. We've had 10 to 20+ ft waves for a month straight! Look at Surfline for Humboldt County.
Where's your footage? I've never heard anyone claim they're heading to Humboldt to surf cuz it's gonna be firing so I don't know but Rincon is world class... Pu in sai tubos mai 🤙
These swells will become and have become more common and powerful because there is so much more energy in the atmosphere thanks to all the fossil fuels we continue to burn thanks Exxon et al for the good waves that will one days soon top over 101 by rincon
