Thank you! I used this mount when fabric shopping in Japan in May of ‘23, and found that I could use my backpack straps to hold it in place (awesome!), but that’s impractical when trying to film sewing videos, so now I’ll try the magnet! Love it!
Thanks for that! This review may have just convinced me to buy one. The magnet trick is great, but simply pointing out the fact that it really needs extra stabilisation answers my biggest question. Knowing there’s a solution is even better.
"If you have a habit of moving around and pacing, CUT IT OUT!" Lol! You crack me up! 😂 I really appreciate your review. As a woman, some of the body mount reviews by men just dont translate, cause boobs.
I got this on Amazon thinking it was the proper one, but there's no magnets on mine it all screws in with the go pro teeth, I think I got the shorter one too and I think I need the longer version, I'll do some test when the snow melts and hopefully it works fine for me
Hey the magnets are a great idea! Crazy idea, but you know those waterproof bandaids that stick to your skin like crazy? Maybe I could put the disk directly on my chest and tape it down. Just a couple hours for a hike in Greece.
thank so much for the magnet idea! i was thinking about that too and idk why they never thought of it as part of their design! but thank you sooooo much for this video! now i just gotta figure out if i need the standard size or the long one hmmm trying to see how much longer it actually is since im slightly chubby around my neck
Tikki Nice idea but I am looking for the same idea BUT using a i phone. Do you think the snap mount would work for i phone also using disc battery suggestion?
Hi..the neck mount part is magnetic, so my magnet under the shirt will connect to the magnet on the mount. You can see this on the video. Hope that answers your question?
@@TravelwithTikkiO I noticed before you attached the neck mount, the magnet on your shirt was hanging by itself. How did you get the magnet to stay on your shirt before you mounted the neck mount?
@@therock005She put a magnet under her shirt. Put the second magnet on top of it on the outside of her shirt. And then she stuck the mount to it. So she didn't use glue. She used another magnet, with the shirt in-between the two magnets.
Wonderful idea, combining the magnet mounts. I'm going to try the magnet under the shirt when cycling, since the "little bit of bounce" from walking is exaggerated even worse when cycling. It's a bit weird to me that Telesin doesn't sell anything else with this quick adapter - but Ulanzi, a competitor, does. I wonder if they're compatible - being able to quick attach to the necklace and to a tripod would be really cool!
@@PuntokUno1014 sadly, they're not directly compatible. However, if you don't mind a little jenk, I used a Ulanzi go-quick attached to the Telesin neck mount (a sort of double quick connect). If you attach it so that the Ulanzi opens in the opposite direction of the Telesin, you have a platform that still is able to be switched with your other go-quick mounts.
Nice dear , but you should also give the test walk after putting magnet behind the neck mount, so we should have watched the difference. I hope you got my point

And maybe a tighter shirt will help even more!
Very good suggestion about the magnet, thanks!

Thanks for the magnet tip. As much as I like the Telesin Neck Mount, I was having a hard time with the thing bouncing. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Thanks for this! I find it a hassle you need to buy the long neck to get the extra mounts.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
I won't lie i was dubious when you showed the magnets... but funnily enough I have the same ones 🤣👌 might try this too thanks
If you compare to VRIG claw mini quick release neck mount, you'll love it....

NIce work on figuring out to use the magnet under the shirt.
Thanks 😊

Great vidoe Tikki. Where would I get a round magnet that size you recommend? many thanks
Your video presentation was phenomenal. So nice and so perfect. However, you should’ve used the mount to film this video lol.
Thank you for the review!
perfect solotion❤🎉
Hi Tikki, can you make another review for VRIG Claw Mini Magnetic Neck Mount for comparison to Telesin product, thank you!

Very good explication I mean very accurate. so the 5 thumb up is mine and I subscribed to your channel because you deserve to grow.
Thanks so much I appreciate it!
Nice video. Thanks
Glad you liked it, thanks for the comment!
genius! thanks for the video!
the extension is a really tight fit and doesnt work with older gopros before the hero 8
Molto utile👍 Thank you!
How did you get the magnet on your polo shirt to stay on?
is this the normal size the long or large one?
Can you please tell how you put magnet on your polo shirt to stay on?

Nice tip! Question, how did the magnet stay on your shirt before touching the back of the telesin? You glued it ? Thanks! :)
Exactly what I was going to ask. Yes id like to hear the answer to that

i have a ulanzi quick magnetic mount. does it fit on the telesin neck mount?

Some magnets can be detrimental to health so be careful with long exposure to skin

mobile safe or not ????
genius!
Can’t even enjoy it cuz it’s agony putting it on what a stupid design
