Looks like a fin project. Would suggest wearing a dust mask when working with dry concrete. Why not put the stem in concrete when partially dry ?

Hello. Yes the stem can also be placed in when it’s partially dry. The ones I’m working on here are not completely cured which is why I had some cement come off during the process of removing stockings. Also, keep in mind what adhesive one is using to secure stems as there are potential bonding issues with damp concrete. Unless you are using more concrete … Thank you for watching my channel😀

How long did you allow it to dry before you took the pantyhose off? Beautiful look!!!

Greetings! The pieces were left to dry a couple of hours. If you use rapid set cement you could remove pantyhose sooner. Thank you for watching my channel! Happy creating🥰

How do you finish the pumpkins? Did they feel soft or rough to the touch? Do you dip them in water when dry to get the sand off?

Hello. I left my pumpkins ay natural. (Sealed ) this protects them. I didn’t use sand in making my pumpkins. The only time I washed in water was to sand the pumpkin I had put tumbled glass chips in .. I put pumpkin in water/sanded to allow glass pieces to show more. The pumpkins feel soft to touch in all relevancy to concrete. They are smooth. Thank you for watching my channel🥰
