      yup, in his podcasts episodes, he says it was on purpose to send him to a lower school so he can hone his skills as the alpha with lesser talent on his team. chatworth is literally down the road from sierra canyon, aka bryce. so when the time does come that he has high skilled players around him, he knows how to rely on them when the time comes. gil told him that he has to still trust his teammates, even though they're not the same caliber player. be the killer scorer that he is, but make the right play, even if his teammate doesnt make the shot.

      You're exactly right, that part in the zone was #23's responsibility, all they had to do is run them off of the 3pt line. They should've been in man defence as 2-3 zone has weak spots at the top of the key (where the 3 was made) and, the wings off of a drive and kick. Coach could've been wayy better in crunch time, you gotta address things like that during the timeout. tough L

    Yea but there is some reads he needs to work on . Draw and kick and allow the ball to rotate . He never boxes out either but he’s very talented .

    Sometimes he needs to slow down power and up and attack too many off balance falling attacks at the rim especially when you are bigger and stronger and longer (pause)

  • @Jimthegoat22
    @Jimthegoat22 10 месяцев назад

    #13 sold the bag fs, but the coach needs to call a better out of bounds play at the end of the game. 18:15 He had 2 chances and both plays that were called were terrible leading to the terrible pass #13 had to make to avoid the 5 seconds violation. Alijah could easily make it down court in less then 5 seconds, idk why he would make him stand at half court, let your best player go get the ball and make a play.

  • @Godson0616
    @Godson0616 10 месяцев назад

    They need to work their rotating defense when the basketball ball swings from side to side. I feel like Alijah watched easy layups go in without contesting them. Those easy layups gave the other team momentum in the first quarter. Alijah should have been putting that stuff against the backboard!

    why didn't Alijah call for the ball when they were up 3 and Laces had to foul? I like Gil's vision for Alijah has to learn how to play with lesser talented players and other teams solely trying to stop Alijah. Interested to see if GIl/Alijah take the same approach to college
